It is officially live as of a couple hours ago...and it is glorious. It deserves it's own thread, since it and it's content are way better than anything that are going on right now. So, who has ordered it, and what have you watched so far?
I've already watched pieces of WCW Halloween Havoc 1991 before I had to head to work, and now I'm watching WWF Survivor Series 1990 on my phone while I'm doing some accounting paperwork at my desk. Yes...I'm either going to need to file for a leave of absence or the WWE Network will get me fired at some point in the near future...

I just spent maybe an hour watching the Live channel. Caught the last 2/3rds of the Cesaro/Zayn match and some other jazz. Watched a bit of the first One Night Stand PPV. Jericho vs. Storm was really good, but then I ran into buffering issues and decided to play a game instead.

Man, they are having a lot of problems right now. If you watch whatever is live at the moment, it seems fine. If you are trying to watch something on demand, it's pretty hit or miss with loading issues, buffering, freezing, etc. But who didn't expect this? There is a reason they gave everyone a week free...to clean up the bugs. I was able to watch more than enough yesterday to realize that once this thing is 100% working, it is gonna be great.

Yeah I watched the live stuff a bit last night, right up until ECW Hardcore TV or whatever it was, the original NWA Eastern Championship Wrestling (not my style). Took a bunch of attempts to get This is NXT to load and by then halfway through I was ready for bed.

I have been enjoying the first three episodes of Raw on the live stream this morning...this network is gonna be a lot of fun for fans who don't particularly care about the current product.

Well since my DVR decided to fucking freeze, I missed around half of Raw last night. It sounds like I didn't miss much though, HHH vs. Bryan....yuck.

The Undertaker vs Brock stuff was ok, and the Reigns vs Wyatt stuff was fun, if only cause it is always fun to see Bray Wyatt in singles action on free tv. But yeah, it was pretty disappointing overall. But hey, this is a conversation for the "wrestling thread", not the WWE Network thread...you know everything has to be in it's proper place.

It's been a little over a week since the launch...a few of us have privately been discussing this, but now that it is up and the bugs seem to have been worked out, what does everyone think? And has anyone found a better PPV than Wrestlemania 17? Cause I'm not sure such a thing exists...

I haven't been watching many of the WWF/WWE PPVs. Watched all of NXT, some old school Raws, and I've been watching the original ECW PPVs in order. Man the chicks there were strange, bodies like pornstars, faces that looked like somebody hit them with frying pans. Really end up watching whatever is on Live stream. Oh and I've seen alot of them before, but I really like the Legends of Wrestling roundtables they have up. Watching the Beyond the Mat Rock one right now, but pretty sure I've seen it before

I've gone the other route...almost exclusively WWF/WWE PPVs with some old Raws tossed in with the live stream. Think I've watched 12-15 of the actual Rumbles and 3 or 4 of the whole Royal Rumble events. Mixed in some Money in the Bank cash-ins for good measure...the "Invasion" angle PPVs from 2001...I tried a little classic WCW, but SO MANY JOBBERS got on the PPVs. Who was paying to watch Tracy Smothers and Sgt. Buddy Lee Parker? Get out of here...

See, I really want to wait to go hardcore viewing of the PPVs or all 3 until I get some more ECW weekly, Nitro and Raws to fill in some of the story I'm missing. Especially since old ECW only did a PPV every other month I feel I'm missing important pieces to the puzzle

Oh yeah, I have no idea what is going on half the time...even doing the "Invasion" PPVs in a row, a guy would lose a title in one PPV and have it back at the start of the next one. Apparently titles changed a lot more frequently on Raw and Smackdown back in "the day"...

Plus if I'm not mistaken, they had both WWE and WCW belts during the Invasion angle.

Plus if I'm not mistaken, they had both WWE and WCW belts during the Invasion angle. You are correct...all of them...it was a joke. WCW had the cruiserweight, US, tag and World titles, while WWF had the light heavyweight, intercontinental, tag and World. Summerslam had them unifying the tag and cruiserweight titles, and the next PPV they were separate again...it was just a mess.

After watching the new NXT I just can't see past the "Flair" nose on Charlotte. Otherwise it's amazing to me that a girl bred from Ric is 1000% more athletic then he ever was.

Bumping this up for last nights NXT. I think this show was much better Pre-Network. I don't know if they are trying different things now because of the expected viewers but something has seemed off the last couple of weeks. I get they want to give different guys a run on TV every couple of weeks but some of these characters are BAD.
Mojo RIsing? Or whatever his name is? He's terrible bad, and I'm pretty sure the Earthquake butt drop is less effective from a 285 pound guy.
Rusev? I actually don't mind the guy but I don't see why they don't bump him to main roster and feed him the face jobbers like Santino, Kofi, Truth, etc...
Ascension? I don't get them, I read alot of hype about this awesome entrance and great talent and I see a weak shitty Brood.
Bo Dallas. He needs underwear that don't make it look like he's walking around with a load in his tights
Overall, I can't say anything other then the Divas match was entertaining to me.
Also Renee Young is terrible, stop giving her so much air time!
----
Also watched Fully Loaded 2000.
Really good card. T&A w/Trish vs. Hardyz w/Lita in inter-gender match. Trish must have used like 4 bottles of oil before this match, and Albert used to be legit bigman, but not fat like he is now. Test could really go.
I jumped around the rest of the card, but they had Val vs. Rikishi in a cage, Angle vs. Bikertaker, Y2J vs. HHH Last man standing and Benoit vs. Rock with Shane in Benoits corner.
Not a bad event if you're looking for something to watch

Yeah, I've been watching a lot of the PPVs lately...WM19 was way better than I remembered while WM20 was way LONGER than I remembered. For some reason I just haven't been able to sit down and watch a WCW PPV from start to finish...any recommendations? Not really looking for Steamboat-Flair era, I've seen Chi-Town Rumble and Starrcade 89 before. I'm thinking more NWO era with a decent card (if such a thing exists).

I wouldn't even know where to start with WCW PPVS. They had so many filler matches and so much interference it was a nightmare. Something EARLY NWO might be watchable before they expanded to 65% of the roster and had a member in every match. I may hold out for some Nitros before I even consider tackling their PPVS. Dudes flipped Face/Heel and title holders on a weekly basis it felt like. I'm maybe 1/2 thru ECW PPVs and while I've been enjoying them I'm missing lots of storyline since they were every other month for PPV airings

Even the scarce few they have provide more plot info then the PPVs that I jump into. I have a feeling they are holding them back until they start their "Monday Night Wars" series though...

I could see that. I'm interested in the MNW series, but I'd rather just see them release both the Raw and Nitro that went against eachother and air them back to back LIVE

FYI, started watching Invasion 2001 and this might have been a terrible idea.
Opening match was Lance Storm/Mike Awesome vs. E&C and that was decent Followed up with Earl Hebnor vs. Nick Patrick...yes referee match with Foley as Ref....
I may have bit off a PPV I can't chew without vomiting.
