Survivor Series 2001. Then the next night Ric Flair debuted and they started moving toward the ownership thing where he was part owner thanks to Shane & Stephanie selling him their stock, which led into the brand split thing.

Thank you New York, I need something to watch tonight after Invasion. Basically anything with Torrie Wilson

Survivor Series 2002
Just watching this tonight, this is a fantastic event. Maybe some of that is because I am such a fanboy for HBK matches and this was his 2nd match back from his broken back.
Great Card: Bubba Ray, Spike and Jeff Hardy vs. 3MB and Rico in an elimination Table match Trish vs. Victoria in a hardcore Womens title match Angle/Benoit vs. Edge/Rey vs. Los Guerreros in elimination tag title match Couple other filler matches an Elimination Chamber with HBK/HHH/RVD/Y2J/Kane/Booker T
I also think that they need to go back to some of these classic promo packages:

I think Plossl would give it a thumbs up. I know he started watching it after my suggestion As a whole I'd say it's an above average PPV, yes. Check out the second match though where Noble hits Kidman with what might be the sickest DDT you'll ever see. I miss a dedicated cruiser weight division more than anything in WWE.

It's sad cause I had so much fun watching that PPV, and then trying to find another one that I enjoyed did not work out last night. I've come to the conclusion that if Undertaker, Kane, or Big Show are in singles matches on a PPV I have a really hard time enjoying them.

Some of us talk about this (quite a bit) privately, but no one has mentioned the Network on the boards in over a month, so I want to get people's general thoughts. How do you think about the Network now compared to when you initially signed up? Are you going to keep the Network after the 6 months subscription comes up for renewal?
Personally, while I love a lot of the archived stuff, I'm not using it enough to make the 9.99 a month worthwhile. While it makes sense from a PPV standpoint (44.95 per PPV before), I wasn't ordering the PPVs in the first place, so that isn't really a factor in my mind. While I might change my mind once they start getting some of the Monday Night Wars stuff up, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna cancel after the 6 months is up. Anyone else?

Enjoyed the NXT Takeover special. I'd have to say NXT has been the highlight of the WWE Network. 3 quality matches which is more than you can expect from a main roster PPV nowadays.

Finally watched NXT Takeover. Not sure how I feel about the event as a whole. Was happy to see Charlotte win over Natalia, but then just as upset to see her as a big heel hug her opponent after the match. I officially still can't stand the Ascension, but Neville/Kidd was a good match, not sure either should be a headline guy but they put on a hell of a match.

I officially still can't stand the Ascension, but Neville/Kidd was a good match, not sure either should be a headline guy but they put on a hell of a match. I think the 3 final matches were all really good and the Rose - Camacho one served it's purpose. The only match I was disappointed with the the tag title match. Not sure what they are building towards there but I figured Ascension was heading towards the main roster soon so thought they'd drop them to the hot new guy in Kalisto (Ricardo Rodriguez is terrible though, can't be a highflier in that shape). Zayn - Breeze was probably the match of the night, but this is the second time out of two tries Zayn has been involved in the best match so i'm not surprised. The Charlotte - Nattie match put all of the diva matches on the main roster to shame, and while I agree that the hug was stupid, it served it purpose showing the difference between Nattie and Kidd. I think they are leaning towards Charlotte and her partner Sasha being the next feud so I guess they are going to turn Charlotte face for that. The Neville/Kidd match was probably my least favorite of the final 3 but still a good match. I think both are capable of headlining NXT but are both likely midcard guys on the main roster. Neville is going to be a big fan favorite with his Red Cross finisher.

Yeah, I forgot about the tag match. It was decent right up until Ricardo got hot tagged and then botched almost everything he tried to do. Guy has to shed some weight for sure.
I'm sure the Charlotte/Sasha feud is coming, but not sure I like Charlotte has a face. Cocky heel seems much more fitting a character for her but we'll see.

So, the PPV last night was crap (the booking was terrible and the matches themselves weren't particularly strong) and my stream kept freezing or cutting out altogether in the second half of the event...the WWE is making my renewal decision real easy for me.

That sucks pretty bad for you Plossl. I only had 1 or 2 instances where it rewound 5 seconds and then just picked back up. Otherwise I'd agree that the booking was god awful, and I may have enjoyed the matches more if almost the entire card wasn't either rematches or 3rd time they wrestled in the last 3 PPVs.

Ok, those of us who signed up the day the Network started had our first six months contract expire on the 24th. I know myself, Roark and Dave (formerly Boston) didn't renew...did anyone else who signed up from day 1 actually keep the WWE Network for another 6 months?

Billy felt a little more legit - he even had success after NAO. Road Dogg didn't really (sorry K-KWIK)..

I think Gunn had the "look" and they definitely pushed harder for him to be a more successful singles act but he could never break through. Gunn had the KOTR and stuff but he always had his biggest success in tag teams whether it was NAO, Smokin Gunns or Billy & Chuck.
