Christoph Waltz has been added to the cast of Bond 24. This cast keeps getting better and better. Pretty stoked even though I have to wait a year.

Everyone hear about the Suicide Squad movie?
Jared Leto as Joker, Eisenberg as Luther, that gal from Wolf of Wallstreet as Harley Quinn, and Tom Hardy (as Bane I think).

Anyone watched Interstellar yet? Friend of mine said he liked it but it pulled on the emotional strings too much, and I don't make trips to the theaters that often but looking for something to watch close to Thanksgiving.

This is something I'm really looking forward to. I've never read the comics storyline arc, but just the concept of these villains being anti-heroes is fascinating to me. I'm not sure how any of the other DC movies (Batman vs Superman, Justice League, or any of the solo films with Wonder Woman or Aquaman) will turn out, but I think this one has a chance to be very good.

A friend of mine who is a huge sci-fi buff opted for Interstellar over Big Hero 6 (he's also a comic book buff). His opinion (and his alone) was that it was "epic" in scope and display, but otherwise he didn't enjoy it as much as he had hoped. I'm going to give it shot closer to Thanksgiving as well, if you do end up watching it, let us know what you thought.

I had read earlier that WWE wrestler/Guardians co-star Dave Bautista had landed the villian role, and while I think he'll end up in the movie, I was hoping it would be more a Jaws/2nd-fiddle type character rather than the main guy. Waltz is perfect casting IMHO.

Will do, my buddy just went last night to see it and is big into space and said I would love it. I am easily impressible though, especially with movies, so I'm going to probably go next week and take advantage of the weekday ticket prices.

Great idea, can't beat the midweek matinee prices! I have kids so it's always the most expensive possible showtimes (5-6PM in the evening, Saturdays).

He's too good of an actor to be an Oddjob type unlike Bautista who fits that type of muscle role.

However, this is a Bond movie, so I can see where a very good actor would be willing to play 2nd/3rd fiddle for the sake of being part of a blockbuster like this. But whatever the case may be, this is going to be a helluva movie.

Saw Interstellar last night. It was amazing. I'm confused as to how others were confused about what happened. Seemed pretty straight forward.

Been watching a bunch of movies lately. Saw Interstellar, won't spoil it for anyone, definitely worth checking out there where things I questioned but still really good.
I saw Birdman last night pretty good. Liked Edward Norton in it there was a lot of good stuff in there.
Also saw St. Vincent like a week ago. I liked the movie. Very funny and touching, got to love Bill Murray plus Melissa McCarthy I like to watch a lot.
Nightcrawler was another good one. Jake Gyllenhaal was great. Definitely something that met my expectations and surpassed them.
The other one I saw a few weeks ago was Gone Girl. That is the only one I didn't like. That is a ton of movies I've seen, but now is the perfect time to go overboard watching movies. I wanted to watch Rosewater last night, but changed my mind to the Birdman so that is another one I need to check out.

I've got to beat the drum (pardon the pun) on Whiplash...still the best movie I've seen this year that no one is talking about. It's in enough theaters now that if you can find Birdman, you should be able to find Whiplash. SEE IT!

I will have to check out Whiplash. So many movies to check out so little time. I hate how everything good comes out at this time. I also need to go back and checked some movies I've missed like Boyhood.

I tried to get Whiplash for our festival up here but Sony said we were happening a month too early to get it. Glad to hear it's really good though.

Super excited for Bond 24, now titled SPECTRE. The fact that they are bringing back the best adversary ever makes me extremely happy.

So, the Sony/Disney deal for Spider-Man is done...he will now be a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Who else is excited for yet another Peter Parker origin story...

Rumor is that they are heavily considering the Miles Morales origin for Marvel's Spider-Man just to separate him from the rest and add some minority to the MCU.

Strange I heard they weren't planning on doing the Miles storyline. Is SONY relaunching Spiderman AND there will be another Spiderman in the Avengers/Civil War? If that is the case then SONY should use Miles and let Marvel/Disney cast a small, really young actor as Peter Parker.
