You don't watch the Wolves then if that how you think they play.
Plus, they've been hurt all year. For a couple weeks they had 9 active players (4 were PGs) and 2 were D league pick ups. Let a team get healthy before dogging on their play.
No one said they were playing great ball or that they were showtime.

I shouldn't have used that term. I just meant Rubio is a lot of fun to watch. Anyways Im looking forward to the Wolves next season that's for sure.

Yeah I hear you. This seasons seemed so promising and then I get to watch them lose 10+ games when having the lead going into the 4th quarter and watch our team lose players off and on all season. Hopefully Love grows a brain and doesn't do anymore knuckle pushups (or punch things). Hopefully we are also smart enough to get a legit 2 guard.

Kahn logic....

Minnesota Timberwolves Drafting 101: -When you draft a good player, immediately contact the team that just picked after you and inquire about the guy you could have drafted. -If you do draft somebody who could be a Hall of Famer (such as Ray Allen) make sure to instead deal him to the first team that calls you. -If you have the opportunity to draft and keep Brandon Roy, don't you'll just get him after his body gives up on him. -Don't draft the best player available, draft a PG. -If all else fails, contact Kevin McHale and give him the farm.

How about those TWolves? Stickin it to the Thunder like no big deal. This is the big problem I have with my Thunder. Scott Brooks can not alter game plans against teams. To him you run the same shit every game and every matchup. To give credit where it is due, the Wolves always play the Thunder very well.

I mean who would have wanted Ty Lawson anyways when you've got Ricky Rubio. It's not like Lawson is just as good.

Whats up with Derrick Williams? i see him scoring a lot now. Reminds me of a less nutcase version of Beasley. Not sure if D-Will got the lateral quickness to guard the 3's in the league though

EEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW... That was so damn rough. I was told he needed a blood transfusion before they took him off the court because he lost so much.

i'll never understand the Flynn pick I can answer that and it's not that complicated to explain. Kahn had a trade he lined up with Sacramento that draft. The Kings would have dealt (the #4 pick) Tyreke Evans to the Timberwolves for Flynn and James Johnson (who we were planning on draft at ~21 but he was taken by the Bulls at ~18) so then they were stuck with Jonny (who is talentless). [EDIT: Shitty thing about that is that it sounds like "oh cool, Tyreke and Ricky - OMG WINSAUCE!!" but in reality that would have been a brutal pairing. Evans is a ball-dominant player who can't shoot which is exactly the opposite kind of guy you want to pair with Rubio. Don't get me wrong, he'd be better than Flynn + Nothing but I don't think the Wolves would be in that much better a situation with their rotation if they had been able to pull that trade together. A lot of knowledgeable Wolves fans wouldn't trade for Tyreke now if he were available.] Since Johnson was taken already they traded the pick to Denver who decided they wanted to move up for Lawson. Dave, the Wolves never drafted/had Ty Lawson. The pick was made for Denver but the deal had been reached beforehand. The Wolves wouldn't have selected Lawson (but he was a a hell of a pick by Denver). I still like Rubio over Lawson but I think Rubio does/sees things other PGs can't. Lawson is a very nice PG though. I'm a little jealous of the depth the Nuggets have - that team is nice. Whats up with Derrick Williams? i see him scoring a lot now. Reminds me of a less nutcase version of Beasley. Not sure if D-Will got the lateral quickness to guard the 3's in the league though Williams is playing A LOT better recently. He's attacking the rim now instead of trying to get cute with drawing contact. He's getting calls and all in all he is a nice bright spot for this team. I'd still package him at their #1 this year for an established SG (young/talented - none of this JJ, Reddick, Afflalo BS for that package) or to move up in the draft if they like McLemore/Noel.

As a Hornets fan, if our pick would yield McLemore or Noel... I'd gladly deal it for Minny's pick + DWill.

Do the Hornets consider Davis a C or PF? Could you play Davis/Williams together? I'd think so because don't him and Anderson play side-by-side?

Well, I see Williams as a 3. Davis plays some 5 but mostly the 4. Anderson isn't terrible on ball in the post because Davis can come from weakside and Hornets have size like Vasquez for rotations down in case of the pass.
Noel w/ Davis seems redundant and not the greatest fit offensively.
And if Hornets keep EGKnees which I think they do, McLemore doesn't fit either. Best bet for Hornets is Otto Porter but if he isn't there and one of those two are, trade is possible.

DWill really isn't a 3. He's a 4 who could guard SOME 3s but not most. If he were a 3 the Wolves would keep him for the post-AK47 era.
I agree about moving down for Porter as best fit for Hornets but maybe Anderson needs to be moved or they swing DWill to another team where he'd have more value than he does with NOLA - I dunno. I think Davis, Williams, and Anderson could be a decent front court rotation but they'd need a 4th big who's a Center.

He's actually fairly solid and pretty consistent. I haven't watched him a ton but I have him in Fantasy Basketball and he's an efficient scorer that will occasionally get a double double or drop 20.
