I can 100% tell you that I will never be a Lebron fan. Quitting on the Cavs and colluding to join his superfriends and take the easy way out will never change to me. Had he stayed with the Cavs and gotten the work ethic/attitude shift he had in Miami I believe he would have won a title there without giving up and tucking tale. I find it laughable that people said he quit on his team. Comments like those show me you can't be objective. Tell me, how many guys QUIT on their team by putting up a triple double against a stellar defense? Yeah, that's right...27 points, 19 rebounds, and 10 assists looks like quitting to you? LMFAO, get out of here with that shit. On the other hand, the Kobe dickriders will talk all day about how he saved the Lakers in Game 7 vs the Celtics by getting 14 rebounds (IIRC) despite almost single-handedly shooting them out of the game (6-24 anyone?). You know who was the first one to claim LeBron quit? The bitch owner Dan Gilbert in his pathetic, whiny letter addressing Cavaliers fans after LeBron ditched their ass. They had 7 years to put together an AVERAGE team and they couldn't do it. Mo Williams was their 2nd best player (and a bench player in LAC) and after that, there was a huge drop-off before Varejao and Ilgauskas. Read Johns post. I meant quitting on the Cavs, his teammates, and his home state. Do you spend all day at some super elite NBA boards or something and then come here talking about Kobe dickriders? I haven't seen more then passing mentions of Kobe here and you always bring it up. Who can't be objective now? Sounds like another douchy Lebron lover versus an objective observer? Maybe? Maybe not?

Hardly. I use advanced metrics rather than the "good ole'" eye ball test that leads to brainwashed children being raised to think all Lakers, Bulls, and Celtics stars are top 10 all-time.

His point is that you continue to talk about Kobe fanboys telling you this garbage all the time, but the problem is they aren't on this board.
If you want to take to big-time Kobe supporters go find em. We're talking about LeBron and you continue to derail that discussion and then don't actually respond to what people are telling you.
Learn to read.
Learn to write.
Learn some math.
(Jesus, do you need your hand held through conversations? You may use "advanced stats" but you clearly don't understand anything.)

I'm not sure why we are still talking about this...some people really hate Lebron (Dave), some people really love Lebron (KK and CSKA) and some are somewhere in the middle (myself, John and others in the conversation). Both sides have stated their arguments, with one side continually doing it over and over, and none of us are going to change our opinions. How about we just move on and talk about something else...like how Chris Bosh clearly was overrated in Toronto when he had no one around taking away shots and rebounds.

Yeah, Bosh sucks..
Sounds like AK47 may opt out to chase a longer deal. Small issue though, this is a good FA class. He'll probably get lost in the shuffle.
Flip and Love on Mike &Mike this morning continuing to say no way Love gets traded, stop asking NBA.

What kind of a deal would he be able to command long term at 32 years old?

He wants to play til 35. He was very effective last year (when healthy).
If I could sign him to a 3/21 or something I'd be all over that. Still a great defender but health is a concern.

Maybe I'm off, but that seems like alot of money for AK. I don't have his stats handy, maybe advanced stats guy can whip some up for us. However if the FA class is really good, couldn't MN try to bring in somebody younger and more talented then AK? Did he start for you this season? I don't think I saw any T-Wolf games other then against OKC so I am not an expert on anything roster related to them.

I can eco what John is saying AK, although he may not put up big numbers is still one of the best defenders in the league.

Oh La La... Heats go down! Tony Parker was himself but Timmy struggled early and Spurs could not hit a shot. I don't see the Heat improving much outside of refs giving them more calls but Spurs can hit open shots to get around 100 with ease.

He still plays like he did in Utah where he stuffs the stat box (on a smaller scale) getting multiples in each category. I just like how he does all the little things. He knows the game of basketball very well and he usually knows where he needs to be, when to cut, when to open up the lane, make the right passes ect.. Im an AK fan and hope we can get him back. Im actually a huge fan of the entire core of the Wolves and think with the help of this draft and having moveable pieces, we can have a legit powerhouse. If Adelman stays around next season (gosh I hope so), I see Pekovic coming back and I can almost guarantee Chase Budinger will come back as well. This is a good time for the Wolves and with a little work I think the Wolves can be a great team and in the playoffs rather easily.

Game 6 was absolutely insane! One of the best games Ive watched in a while. Very intense, great defense, great shots, ect, ect... Ray Allens 3 with 5.5 seconds left was absolutely amazing. Cant wait for game 7!

Just finished watching it, great game. Can't see the Spurs winning game 7 now after that. Not sure why they took Duncan out on that Allen three with Bosh still in the game after giving up the board the possesion before on LeBrons three.

Even though I do appreciate LeBron's greatness, I'm not a Heat fan or anything like that. I really wanted Duncan to get his 5th ring despite my affinity for LeBron because of one reason: I grew up with Duncan as my favorite player. At some point, I dropped my fandom for Duncan in favor of Darko. But you can bet your butt off I was hoping the Spurs would win. Of course, I also wanted Duncan to win FMVP despite struggling for the first 3 games (to add a 4th FMVP to his collection). Still, at this point, I'm kind of worried because a game 7 has been one on the road TWO TIMES in ~50 years. Not good...not good at all.

Now I only tuned in for the final minute and OT, but how was Allen not called for the big ass hack on Manu at the end of regulation? Didn't notice on the Green attempt, but Mike and Mike this morning both said Bosh fouled him on the 3pt heave. Sucks because I would much see Duncan get another ring and possibly go out on top of the world then this lazy Heat team who half asses it so much.

Sucks because I would much see Duncan get another ring and possibly go out on top of the world then this lazy Heat team who half asses it so much. As much as I wanted a foul call for Ginobili, it wasn't a foul. I saw someone create a frame-by-frame representation of the play. Sadly, there was no foul. The Bosh one was egregious. If that was any game other than a do-or-die elimination game 6, I think they'd call it. But, sadly, it's too big of a stage to call. Made worse by Bosh acting like he did shit in the game. Yup, Duncan really deserves another one. I am selfish, but I hope he goes out on a high note rather than playing another season or two and leaving upon defeat in the playoffs. Go out the D-Rob way...a champion. Duncan carried a team of chokers (Parker), inconsistent players (Ginobili, S-Jax), and role players to a title and went toe-to-toe with Shaq (besting him in the process) to win that ring for D-Rob. The Spurs, if they win, should hope he retires. Can't imagine a better send-off.

I hate to say it but I think the heat will win game 7. I hope I am wrong. Lebron is on.

Lebron is the best player on the planet and he proved it past 3 games.

Great player sure, I just don't recall any team in a long time that seemed to be outplayed in multiple series. In the end they won, but I would argue that Chicago, Indiana, and San Antonio all outplayed them but somehow managed to not finish them off. I mean one more Lenard FT in game 6 and this series was done. The only plus I can take is that I don't see this team being able to pull off another title next year.
