You clearly watch too much TV if you think any of these TV shows are more entertaining then Basketball The NBA season, by my latest calculations, is around 26 months long (or roughly the length of our current offseason in this league)...forgive some of us if we don't start paying attention to the regular season until after the January 1st.

Is there anyone here who watches "Once Upon A Time"? Someone on the site I write for got me hooked on it...I'm just wondering if anyone has checked out if the new "Once Upon a Time in Wonderland" is any good (though I guess I could just ask the same guy)...

You clearly watch too much TV if you think any of these TV shows are more entertaining then Basketball What basketball is there to watch until the last couple months of the season? The weekly Miami Heat and NY Knicks games, or watching shitty T-Wolf games on FSN. The season goes on for something like 412 weeks and 3/4 of the season is garbage that matters nothing in the end. I'll take an entertaining 30 minute comedy or 60 minute drama over a 3 1/2 hour mediocre basketball game.

I will take regular season basketball over the shit they call TV these days lol. It's the same reason I haven't paid for cable for the last 4 years, TV is just terrible overall.
I know Im not giving any of these shows a chance, but to be honest a majority of the stuff they come up with on ABC, NBC, Fox, and most other channels has little to no entertainment value to me. Some of them are decent but they are few an far between for me personally.
So yes I would rather watch regular season Basketball, Football, and UFC fights over any TV show they come up with these days because I get a lot more entertainment out of athletics and competition and actually following teams/players then I do with these shows. I'm better off waiting until shows hit Netflix or hearing them through word of mouth.
BTW If you don't watch any regular season Basketball you miss out on many of the instant classics that happen. For example Kobe dropping 82 or the Wolves/OKC game two seasons ago that went triple OT with KLove dropping 50+ and Durant/WB combined for 90+.
Anyways, BASKETBALL IS ALMOST HERE!!

And yet I'm still here and managed to do just fine without seeing all of that meaningless dribble. Kobe could drop 253 on the whoevers and it wouldn't mean shit to me. Does that mean he auto wins the title? If not, I'll be ok waiting until the playoffs roll around to start caring about this dwindling sport. If I wanted to watch grown men bitch every few seconds down the court I'd watch FuTbOl, at least they are allowed to hit or even breath on eachother.

Who cares about the NBA? The WNBA is where its at! The Lynx are the only MN team worth talking about, I mean they are a dynasty!

Both seasons are actually. Season two just ended a couple weeks ago and it's already on there, I'm impressed. Just finished binge watching season two. So many questions unanswered for S3 and an awesome post-credits cliffhanger a la movies. Great show.

Same- Plossl enjoyed it too from what I remember.
I'm on season 3 of Breaking Bad after finishing up House of Cards. Damn I love it.
Also, Boardwalk Empire is in final season, The Leftovers just ended ( loved it ), Ray Donovan has been good and Homeland is coming back soon. Shit, I watch way too much tv.

Same- Plossl enjoyed it too from what I remember. You are correct...Blacklist was one of the few decent shows that came out of last year's week new crop. I'll once again be testing out several new ones this season, and I'm more hopeful of this class of shows than last years.

I'll check out Gotham and the new Agent Carter series that plays in January (or whenever).
Top Chef Duels is pretty solid for those who watch Top Chef. I like more than Masters tbh.
