I saw a little Brooklyn Nine-Nine, kind of meh, but might give it a second chance.
Watching Marvel presents SHIELD (?) and it's a bit hokier than I was expecting. I know the movies are a little bit but this seems akwardly so.
Looking forward to the Michael J Fox Show. Looks really funny. Spin City was good until he left (and even after it was alright).
Anyone watched Sleepy Hollow?
Goldbergs could be funny.

Ill give Brooklyn Nine-nine some time to develop since Parks needed the same leeway

Brooklyn Nine-Nine isn't all that great through the first two episodes but I'll give it a couple more episodes before I give up on it. Sleepy Hollow had a decent first episode but I don't if I can buy the premise for a full season, let alone longer. The one show I did love right off the bat was The Blacklist...James Spader is going to make that show a hit alone.

SHIELD ended up being a little more charming than it thought it would be. It's like HEROES... But simpler, so far. We'll see...
I'll give it another couple episodes.

I don't know, SHIELD was a little goofy for my taste. I might give it one more shot, but it needs to show me more than the premiere did.

I'll probably check out The Blacklist and SHIELD but not too sure how I feel about much else.
I'm eagerly anticipating the return of Homeland this Sunday, that's for sure.

I've been real iffy on the Shield show and haven't had high hopes for it. But if it's anywhere close to HEROES than i'd watch it. But for some reason, I just don't see that. Haven't really followed anything that's on tap for this year. I guess this thread would be a good starting point.
Any South Park fans? I used to watch that a while ago and I seen someone say a new season starts this week or something.

Don't get me wrong, SHEILD isn't great but neither was HEROES.
It's a show about superheroes (kinda) and I am hoping it turns out a bit more like FRINGE though that might be tough.

I loved Heroes, partially due to Hayden at first but overall it was really good. It unfortunately had a Prison Break tailspin.
I'm skeptical of a lot of these new shows on network tv, I gave the Following a chance and it was mediocre at best. I also gave Alcatraz a shot and it was brutal.
Personally I think the best network television show is Suits in my opinion. Great plot, drama, action packed and the dialogue is top notch.

Heroes was a much better show in the earlier seasons. It tailed off a bit after that but it was still a good show. I'm going to give Shield a shot, maybe check it out tonight. Apparently it's getting good reviews, so maybe i'll enjoy it more than i'm expecting

Suits may be one of the most underrated shows on television. If it was on a bigger network and not USA, it would get a lot more recognition, deservedly so. Are you a Game of Thrones fan by chance as well?

Really looking forward to the Michael J Fox show, other then that I caught the pilot for Sleepy Hollow. My wife loved it, I thought it was trash. It really just reminds me of every other monster of the week television series, but they kind of mixed the tales of Headless Horseman and the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse (Not to be confused with the 4 Horsemen WOO!!) which kind of irked me about the show.
Brooklyn Nine Nine looked interesting, but I'm not the biggest Andy Samberg fan so I'm going to wait for more reviews to see if it's worth the time. My DVR already is too full with shows finishing and currently running to add anything new other then MJF Show.

I'm giving Agents of Shield a watch now because Primetime Anytime on my DVR auto-recorded it.

To be clear, they didn't "mix" the Headless Horsemen and the 4 Horsemen unintentionally...it's their whole premise that he was always one and the same. Is it dumb? YUP...but if he rips that costume off and it's The Enforcer Arn Anderson under there, you are gonna feel awful silly for not giving it a shot...

(Without having seen SLEEPY HOLLOW) I think that the Headless Horseman/4-Horseman mash-up is an interesting idea.
I wasn't sure how you'd stretch Sleepy Hollow into a series but adding in this other element allows them to do other things. Sounds like a solid start to be, but I dunno...

Apparently FOX just ordered 13 episodes of GOTHAM which will follow (Commissioner) James Gordon before he meets Batman.
It will be Gordon's creation story.
We'll see...
