I only skimmed half that shit but let me clarify a few things:
1) CSP trade for was younger players. Both the guys he got back were younger prospects (which he was looking for).
2) Detroit/Milan was a total shit fest. Milan gave up his franchise (including, at the time the #5 pick) for the 25th pick in next years draft. And Detroit took their 2nd best player. That would have set Milan back 3-6 years easy. Couldn't let that happen. In the end, Joe didn't even want their 2nd best player so it worked out.
3) I don't know what this "John let this get through because of who was involved" nonsense is all about but that Milan/Detroit trade would have DESTROYED A FRANCHISE. As a commish I cannot let that happen (in one blatantly obvious trade). KK has done a smashing job ruining his team but it was spread out over time. Can't go back and chance the trade with Tehran.
4) People act like there was some market for Fulks. Seattle was offered shit for the guy last year. He was had for #14 (not a haul for a "top 15 player" as one GM calls him) and after a season of losing games (and aging) you expect his value to go up?! I'd never say this was a good trade but people need to stop acting like Fulks has any value UNLIKE the Milan 15/17 picks that were that franchise's life blood.
5) I can't believe this shit went on for 3 pages. Give it up. Have some common sense.
6) This trade is for a guy who is 34. 30-4!! Where was all this nonsense when anyone else was making big huge trades like Toronto and Tehran giving away talent without negotiating? A lot of you jumped on that without asking questions.

I like to pre-emptively overreact to EVERYTHING so John doesn't have to overreact to anything.  Yeah...it is a service I provide. But this thread can certainly die for now, as it got some of us through our Monday morning work-time duldrums. It can rear its ugly head this time again next season when another trade takes place someone disagrees with... |

The 4th season was garbage...I stand by that statement. The fact that they are actually considering making a 5th makes me wonder how this whole Netflix deal worked out, cause someone had to have made money on it, cause the decision certainly isn't quality based. |

Oh the horror of a hijack thread...
I still haven't seen season 4 of Arrested Development (I cancelled my Netflix account about 18 months ago, you know, about the time that they had absolutely NOTHING to watch but documentaries that made you feel like shit about yourself or "B" horror movies).
That said, OF COURSE season 4 is going to be worse than season 1-3. Duh. You can't expect anything else. I'm looking forward to seeing this new season, but I'm also one of "those people" that loved Star Wars 1-3 and didn't hate Jar Jar like everyone else.
