How did he cheat?
Care to explain?
No one cares about tennis in the US.
It's like making a topic about a soccer coach who retired...

I care slightly more about tennis than soccer...and I'm a Nadal guy. I only watched a little of the match, but I didn't see any "cheating" involved. Care to elaborate KK?

Add to the fact the dude played like a bitch sending moonball after moonball on the court. If Djokovic had brought his C game rather than D- game for the first 3 sets, this would have been over in 4 sets. The fact that Djokovic had about a dozen or more UE than winners and Nadal had many more winners than UE tells me if Djokovic plays an AVERAGE game, he wins. Too bad he didn't bring it.

So Nadal, who is going to his 8th French Open Championship (where he is currently 7-0), happened to beat Djokovic while playing a less than stellar game? And according to you that makes him a bitch and a cheat? I swear to God, I don't know how these people get out of bed in the morning, let alone into a league sometimes...

There is a lot more then one point in Tennis, Im sure if Djokovic played better he would have won, but he didn't, and he didn't I'm a Fedhead first and foremost (he's the reason I started and I use a one-handed backhand despite instructors telling me not to) but have fallen for Djokovic once the people at the U.S. Open (assholes) booed him upon losing to Roddick. It helps that I'm also from the Balkans... But yeah, Federer is "my guy" and by far the greatest player of all-time having beaten anyone and everyone to get to 17. I also hate Nadal for his unsportsmanlike behavior (pointing, glares, snide remarks), gamesmanship (over 25 seconds per serve), and style of play (moonballs more than anyone and makes everything into a rally). Djokovic is textbook (i.e. how the game is taught) and Federer is greatness personified. He wins points quickly and the funny thing is he's accomplished the most out of all of them with the least amount of physical talent. EDIT: I will say Federer is a more talented tennis player so it's not like he's faced an uphill battle in terms of genetics or talent, but the ONLY reason either of these guys can beat him is because the courts are faster than they used to be (better for the youngsters) and technology keeps improving to the point where skill discrepancies are being nullified and the better athletes are starting to take over. Nevertheless, no one will EVER have the feel and touch on their shots like Federer. Of that I'm sure.

Tracing the ball = spotting where the ball landed I use to coach and play tennis. To say he did it on purpose is a bit of a reach. I didn't see this, so it may have been obvious, but at that pace he could have actually thought that's where the ball landed. And last time I checked the players don't officiate the game, he can cry all he wants to about where the ball landed, but it's up to the guy in the chair at the end of the day. KK you seem to get mad over a lot of silly things. Go find yourself some prozac and maybe learn to love life a little more.

People are calling him out and the only ones defending him are NaDulltards. Nadal bullied the guy (like he does most umpires) into falsely spotting the location of the ball. This idea that he embodies sportsmanship has been all but debunked on both message boards. Let's not kid ourselves, there's no reason to be upset. Nadal has a long ways to go to catch up to Federer and he won't be able to keep up his style of play for a long period. Funnily enough, he's managed to cure his knee tendonitis...wonder how? 7 months off...hm... As for you talking down to me, please don't. You can dole out all the advice you want (whether asked for or not) in an attempt to bait me into arguing with you (or whatever it is you want), but how about I give you some unsought advice? Stop following me around like a puppy on these message boards. You're blocked; I disabled the block for this post only to see you spew some garbage. Go look through your post history. So yeah, Nadal wins in three straight sets to win his 8th French Open...no complaints of cheating this time around? He won fair and square. Did I say otherwise? My God, you're annoying. You didn't even watch the match, did you? Ferrer is a 31-year old who's 5'9" or so and can't keep up with the big guns (Federer, Nadal, Djokovic, and Murray). He wins smaller tourneys to keep his points up and rated highly. He went down swinging, though. However, unless you actually follow tennis, you should stick to topics you actually understand. Ferrer didn't play a top 20 guy until the semis and when he did, Tsonga came out lazy and played the match like shit (unlike when he's playing the Big 4). The only thing I'll say about Nadal (besides congratulations) is that his type of play is how one of my best friends plays (defensive brick wall returning shots) and I refused to play 1v1 against him because while I may win more often than not, it's ugly tennis and I don't believe in playing as an aggressive baseliner against a human return wall. It's boring (especially the moonballs) and points take too much effort to put away which leads to 2.5+ hours 5 set matches between us. Last time I played him was over 3 months ago and now we either play doubles or bring others to the court so we can avoid each other. In my opinion, tennis needs to be played with a flair like Federer's and not played using negative tennis (moonball, lack of aggressiveness, etc) in the form of Nadal or Bjorn Borg. It diminishes the creativeness of the opponents who then easily get lulled into taking higher risks to put down points. Before you try to troll me about this, YES I DO WIN ~80% OF OUR MATCHES. So no, it's not like it pisses me off because I lose. It's just not beautiful tennis which sports should be about: beauty and creativeness. Other than teenage girls or horny housewives, I can't see how anyone could find Nadal interesting. They watch him for the looks; what's your excuse? You enjoy moonballs?

Clearly, none of us here have your "superior" knowledge of all things tennis, but if we want to discuss things at a more surface level without completely losing our minds like psychopaths, I think we should be able...don't you agree? What I enjoy is how you seem to absolutely lose your mind over sports...on TV...that have nothing to do with you. We are all fans...not all of us go screaming and cussing on message boards to a bunch of strangers about something we have no control over. Life is much to busy for things like that. But anytime you want to do a straw poll about which of us people find more annoying, go for it...the results might (or might not, if you are honest with yourself) shock you.

Wait, who's losing their mind over it? I'm giving my opinion (and that of any non-Nadull fan). What's funny is how YOU lost YOUR mind when I wrote an article on the best players under 21 because I didn't want to go through a list of 70+ players under 24 just so your guys could be listed. Remember that? Sports is real-life. This is a text simulation. I agree...why not make it 22 or 23 and under? I know you were just showing off how young your team was in the first article, but couldn't you have given some Howell love at the same time?
I mean, My God, don't you have something (anything) better to do than worry about what someone else does in a freaking sim league? The fact that I wrote that article should have been enough for that comment to be left off considering, what, 80% of GMs haven't written an article?

I honestly don't give a crap who writes what article about what...any activity is great activity...I was making light of the fact that you wrote an article about 6 guys where three of them were yours. And I would hardly say my comment appears to make me seem to "lose my mind". Now, your repeated posts where you go around swearing and throwing hissy fits about your opinions on Rafael Nadal and Lebron James...those seem the rants of a madman. Are you able to see the difference between the two? Or is this all because you realize you don't have a leg to stand on in this argument? Now, I'm going back to playing with the kids...feel free to freak out on the Philly GM for being active and having an opinion in a SIM LEAGUE. By the way, are you the pot or the kettle in this metaphor?
