Wait, who's losing their mind over it? I'm giving my opinion (and that of any non-Nadull fan). What's funny is how YOU lost YOUR mind when I wrote an article on the best players under 21 because I didn't want to go through a list of 70+ players under 24 just so your guys could be listed. Remember that? Sports is real-life. This is a text simulation. I agree...why not make it 22 or 23 and under? I know you were just showing off how young your team was in the first article, but couldn't you have given some Howell love at the same time?
I mean, My God, don't you have something (anything) better to do than worry about what someone else does in a freaking sim league? The fact that I wrote that article should have been enough for that comment to be left off considering, what, 80% of GMs haven't written an article? 1. I was hyping my player. 2. I honestly don't give a crap who writes what article about what...any activity is great activity...I was making light of the fact that you wrote an article about 6 guys where three of them were yours. And I would hardly say my comment appears to make me seem to "lose my mind". Now, your repeated posts where you go around swearing and throwing hissy fits about your opinions on Rafael Nadal and Lebron James...those seem the rants of a madman. Are you able to see the difference between the two? Or is this all because you realize you don't have a leg to stand on in this argument? Now, I'm going back to playing with the kids...feel free to freak out on the Philly GM for being active and having an opinion in a SIM LEAGUE. By the way, are you the pot or the kettle in this metaphor? You're absolutely right. Take away my points for the article and then take away all points for anyone who's written team articles. Throwing hissy fits? Thank God it's an opinion you have and not a fact. It's just like my opinion that you're mad my article didn't have 50 prospects so your 24 year old was mentioned. As for my knowledge on both topics, it comes from both statistics and opinions from analysts/writers/etc. Thus, yes, it's superior to those who simply use the eye-test. That's becoming an obvious fact when you see coaches like Lionel Hollins being kicked out because they don't see eye-to-eye with intelligent statisticians like John Hollinger. Or the fact that we prop up great, but not super-great (GOAT-esque) players like Kobe Bryant simply because they LOOK the part and don't IMPACT like the originals (Jordan). LeBron is a top 5 all-time according to most advanced metrics. Titles are team achievements; some are more blessed than others in that regard (having amazing teammates). On the other hand, not everyone can consistently be efficient, guard all 5 positions, and do every single thing on offense like LeBron. Philly GM wasn't "freaked out" on for consistently following me around and trying to bait me. For a period of days, all his posts had pretty much nothing to do with anything other than my team or me. That's OK; he's on ignore. Upon getting home from work and school, the last thing I want to do is be fucked around with. But, don't worry, my activity level will decrease to that of most other GMs (logging on for 5 minutes every 3 days) as that apparently is fine and will prevent me from getting baited or trolled with on a daily or semi-daily basis. Not sensitive...just tired. It seems like everyone wants someone to latch onto and use as a whipping boy and that's fine, but it won't be me. Well, it may be, but I won't notice.

The style of play Nadal (and Borg) used to extend rallies by lobbying the ball upwards 80+ feet to be able to return to the center of court and restart play. It's considered negative tennis and frowned upon by most fans for its ugliness.

You slow down posting or block GMs you won't have a team, so make your decision carefully. You're just an antagonist who likes to complain but would rather bitch about it than help and try to figure out WHY they are a problem GM. Cause if you're not bringing activity you aren't brging much else. You certainly aren't winning games or making friends.

So yeah, Nadal wins in three straight sets to win his 8th French Open...no complaints of cheating this time around? The only thing I'll say about Nadal (besides congratulations) is that his type of play is how one of my best friends plays (defensive brick wall returning shots) and I refused to play 1v1 against him because while I may win more often than not, it's ugly tennis and I don't believe in playing as an aggressive baseliner against a human return wall. It's boring (especially the moonballs) and points take too much effort to put away which leads to 2.5+ hours 5 set matches between us. Last time I played him was over 3 months ago and now we either play doubles or bring others to the court so we can avoid each other. In my opinion, tennis needs to be played with a flair like Federer's and not played using negative tennis (moonball, lack of aggressiveness, etc) in the form of Nadal or Bjorn Borg. It diminishes the creativeness of the opponents who then easily get lulled into taking higher risks to put down points. Before you try to troll me about this, YES I DO WIN ~80% OF OUR MATCHES. So no, it's not like it pisses me off because I lose. It's just not beautiful tennis which sports should be about: beauty and creativeness. Technically sports are about competition and winning, it is called SPORT after all. You may appreciate beauty and creativeness more, but when you refuse to play with your friend because you don't like his 'style' you are pretty much being a poor sport. There are a million styles when it comes to every sport and no style should be completely disregarded or you aren't much of a fan of the sport and more so a fan of players within the sport. Every style has its use and Nadal is the best at what he does (his style of what he does anyways), so instead of hating him because its not beautiful, appreciate it because he is a master of his craft. You don't have to like him, but you should have appreciation to what he brings to Tennis IMO. EDIT- BTW, you do realize you are the one who controls whether or not you are getting 'baited' or 'trolled', if you don't like it, ignore it. Or you could do what the rest of us do and not take it too seriously and come back with witty remarks (notice I said witty) and make this into fun like it supposed to be. I have quite a bit of fun with this.

I have quite a bit of fun with this. It seems that London, CSKA and Philly have all covered what needs to be said in my stead... ...though never to be considered "speechless", I gotta agree with CSKA that sports are about winning, not about being creative and pretty. To me, a win is a win...sometimes it is ugly. If I want to watch a sport for beauty and creativity, I'll watch women's gymnastics with my wife...at least there the beauty and creativity is part of the point system.

Hmmm, interesting offer but I don't swing that way...there are plenty other teams to pick on. I advise Brasil or KK just for the rest of us to continue enjoying from a distance.

I just thought I would be nice and let you guys have a chance to experience some victories this year, but this offseason I'm going to fix my team and you all won't have the chance to win anymore
