Hmmmm... so Wall got his contract... and is gonna work harder and fight through pain as well? COME ON... Same situation man. I never said Wall was going to do better after his payday. I'm questioning, why would a player (and organization that just invested millions of dollars in said player) fight through injuries in the short term, at the expense of the long term? That makes zero sense. I'm saying, players are more likely to push through pain in contract years. If you dispute that, then you're moron. Who said Curry will be injured and even be put in that scenario? In my opinion, Curry has really found his rhythm this last season and shot better and with more confidence then he's ever had in the NBA. He's a ton of fun to watch and his stats will be in the same ball park, I'm almost certain of it. You can't just assume since a player got paid he's not going to be the same and you also can't assume that since a player was injured the he will be injured again. If anything you'd assume his stats would drop during the contract year while playing through the pain if anything.

So...
Detroit continues a strange offseason by trading for Brandon Jennings.
Was Josh Smith not enough of a chucker?

Detroit is such a joke of a franchise at this point. Weren't they the team that blew a ton on Ben Gordon a few seasons ago?

Detroit's definitely making some strange moves, but I like the Knight-for-Jennings move more than the Josh Smith signing. Smith hardly fits in with the team at all with his inability to shoot and his conflict down low with Monroe and Drummond. Knight, meanwhile, is hardly a PG. Jennings is absolutely a shoot-first PG, but playing with big man options, he might be more willing to facilitate. It gives them a solid core moving forward. I don't think they'll make the playoffs, but they'll be the 9th/10th seed next season and get better every year.
Milwaukee, meanwhile, looks really, really bad.

I'm sorry, but Curry's ankles are made of glass. There's no disputing that. Is he a great shooter and fun to watch? Of course, but he's also a human and a professional athlete. If you don't consider that then you're thinking like a "fan."

Again, I'm not talking about John Wall.
At what point did I ever mention Wall except to say, "I'm not talking about John Wall?

Next year's draft will have some future franchise players...Potentially 2-3, and a good amount of allstars. Lots of talent.

Agreed. Dude looks like a beast.
Too bad he went to Kansas, but I'm not a huge fan of any of the big college basketball teams.

So Greg Oden signed with the Heat.
I'm not a huge Oden fan and I didn't really follow his career with the Blazers, but I'm rooting for him to have a good comeback (even if it is with the Heat). I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that he could have a stronger comeback than Andrew Bynum. Bring on the hate.

I like Oden but wish he would have signed anywhere else.
I don't want them to succeed but I hope he can find a way to play basketball again.
