As a Kings fan I wouldn't be mad at that. I think 12mil a year is a little rich for my taste for Tyreke, especially with how he currently fits with the team. In the right situation, he can be very good. He has the tools to become an elite defender.

I'm really happy with the Wizards offseason so far. It's cool that we added two "local" guys in Porter (Georgetown) and Maynor (VCU), and I'm really glad that we re-signed Martell Webster. Anyway, it's looking like this, and I'm really excited:
C: Okafor/Seraphin PF: Nene/Booker/Vesely SF: Martell/Porter/Singleton SG: Beal/Ariza/Glen Rice Jr. PG: Wall/Maynor

Wolves re-sign Budinger (yes!) and go and offer Martin 4 years 30 (doh!).
I hope its a 3 year with a 4th year low guarantee or something so he's an asset in that 4th year instead of an albatross (sorry Berliners).

He was such a disappointment for us last season. I was hoping he'd come back for alot less to compete for a championship. I guess he didn't learn his lesson in Sac-Town and wants to play for a mediocre team just to get paid. He needs to realize that he is not an elite SG and just be happy coming off somebodies bench.

We'll see who's mediocre..
Looks like the Thunder got a lot for Harden eh? What's the tally up to at this point? A big from New Zealand?

Looks like the Clippers are making deals trading Butler and Bledsoe. Getting JJ Reddick and Jarred Dudley. Should address some needs. They definitely needed help with their outside shooting.

I hate his game, just as bad as Manu. Only good when getting calls from flopping into players. This season will be when we learn if the trade is worth it. Lamb sounds to be ready to play major minutes and is a capable scorer. We have to see how his defense improved after spending last season in the D league. I don't know jack about the big, but the Thunder radio shows I listened to after the draft see it as a good prospect 2-3 seasons down the road. Plus right now, he is probably as useful to them as Perkins. Mediocre was being giving I figured for the Wolves. When was the last time they actually did anything? Maybe if they were in the East they'd be around mediocre.

Steven Adams reminds me of a less athletic Cole Aldrich. Jeremy Lamb could still end up making that trade look worthwhile (he should be getting some burn this year), but I really doubt Adams does much in the pros.

Looks like Tyreke is headed to the Pelicans in a S&T for Vasquez & Lopez. Darin any feedback on those 2? I've seen a bit of both and I know they match the uptempo style our new GM likes and probably "fit" better with Cousins, but don't know the breakdown of their games.

So is Eric Gordon going to be traded then?
He kinda of seems like the odd man out now, doesn't he?

From what I've seen, they plan on using Tyreke in a Manu 6th man type role or as a SF running a Jrue/Gordon/Tyreke/Ryan Anderson/Anthony Davis lineup perhaps.

Cairo is right. Lopez headed to Portland and Grevis to Sac if things stay the course. Grevis is a high usage but effective player. Can spot up off ball as well. Very solid player. Lopez can guard low post and score low post but can't rebound or do much else.

Greivis is a very good guard that just can't guard anybody. Will be good combination with Isaiah Thomas for the Kings. I don't know if Lopez is a part of the deal but I am almost certain Vasquez is.

Whats everyones thoughts on boston picking up Brad Stevens? I'm kinda excited about it.
As for the wolves draft we managed to get the one guy i wanted nothing to do with... and then saved it by snagging a guy I did really like and thought was one of the best defenders in the draft.

So sounds like Dwight knows where he wants to play and the LAL are reconsidering a S&T.
Wonder where he ends up - Houston, Golden State, or Dallas?

1) Love the Brad Stevens Hire for both. Risky because he could fail early but if there was any organization that I'd go to with trust they'll let me build... it is Boston. If he fails, he can still get almost any college job he wants.
2) I hope he just retires. Not that good. Not superman. Not even Shaq's jockstrap.

Imagine if Dwight does a sign and trade to the Warriors. After signing Iggy, they could have a Curry/Klay/Iggy/DLee/Dwight lineup which would kill me as a Kings' fan, but looks like a legit competitor.

I am less and less sold on Iggy as I looked further into the numbers to compare him to Tyreke. Dwight. Meh. Overrated.

Proof Why None of us are GMs:
Someone asked why include Greivis and Lopez for Tyreke (and now Withey) when you could just sign Tyreke and rid of much lesser pieces. Well, come to find out due to the trade kicker in Lopez's contract and the new CBA, this deal works even if neither team had cap. That means the Pelicans can do the Jrue trade then use the remaining 5.5-6.8 (depending on team options) left to sign a FA (more than MLE for non tax payers). Afterwards they will do the Tyreke deal followed by using the cap exception they will have for starting FA under the cap then going over. Wow. Insane.
tl;dr

Dwight is a joke. Hes going to be the shell of his former self for the rest of his career. He shouldn't have turned into such a diva and he'd be doing amazing things on the court.
Iggy to GSW is kind of cool. I like Iguodala and I really like the GSW so it gives me more reason to watch them.
I also think MN getting Kevin Martin is a good move. We have absolutely no 2 guard with any sort of size or shooting ability and that's exactly what Martin brings to the table. I think he will have a lot better time in MN with a pass first PG, his former coach, and a starting position. I think people have been too harsh on him. He did shoot 45% from the floor and 42.6 percent from beyond the arc last season. Putting him on the Wolves should be a great fit for him.

I don't get the Iggy to GSW trade. They have an up and coming player in Barnes who makes much less than Iggy will make so why go after him?

Think the Warriors are in the same situation with Iggy, if they cant get Denver to do a s+t then they are gonna have trouble filling out the rest of their bench.

Dwight to Houston actually makes them better obviously, but can Dwight stay healthy?
