Don't forget to read the League Activity thread.
I know it's a tough time of year for people but when 28 people login and we get like 6 (non-DC) posts in 3-4 days that's embarrassing. Take 15-seconds and post a trade block, talk to someone about a player, comment on an article - something!
As far as the sim went. Looks like I am still above .500 and playing good defense. Haven't looked at my offensive production yet.

went 3-3. Still got issues defensively Defense will be tough for a lot of the league. Probably the same half that can score Doesn't help that your best player was injured for the last game or two. Still .500 is better than 1-6 or whatever.

Well I went 5-2 and seemed to have turned a corner.
Tom Heinsohn is a beast, putting up 21/9 - I'm thrilled with how he's turned out. Him and Wilt are a formidable frontcourt.
Bernardo Leite is a problem though.. he's scoring, but also turning the ball over more than his APG.

Hmmm, 3-5. Gotta figure some things out to make sure I get back to .500 soon.

Wow. I'll be back later with further analysis, but from a surface level, this sim was definitely a pleasant surprise.

I definitely am not pleased losing 5 this sim. Might be a thing that will happen for the foreseeable future. Might be a long year in Olympia. Inconsistentcy is going to be the downfall of this team.

I personally find the sims too spaced out if they are not going to be live. I think that much time between sims is what causes so much inactivity. I would do a sim every 2 days.

Can you pick up some of my 9-5 duties and make that a possibility? Seriously though, with so many people without the game I am not sure we can (or would want to) go much faster through Season 1. The original plan was to speed it up to 3 sims a week in future seasons. But at this point I won't set aside any more time/effort to this league until 29 others do. I've given a lot already and it's time for everyone else to prove that they want the league. Otherwise I have other things I should be working towards.

I was going to list all the reasons this was a bad idea, but I decided against it...lets just say it isn't going to work with this current set of GMs and move on. Clearly you are one of the few here who is super-excited and ready to get this thing moving, but trust me when I say that for most it is like herding sheep just to get 2 sims a week worth of activity done...

FYI - Berlin goes 5-1, losing by 1 with a day-to-day Bianci before turning it on for a 5 game win streak. Tell me my settings didn't matter John...

Totally. Don't get me wrong. I appreciate Chicago's enthusiasm. He's/you've been an unexpected bright spot in the league. I just think it makes more sense to take Season 1 a little slower to allow ample time for the game to update and fix an issues we may experience and we get acclimated to the routine/order of a full season. I'm just not sure that more sims = more activity. I think that (virtually) every post generates a response so basically we just need people to get off their asses and post. There is a ton of data to sift through, moves to make, articles or write, and off-topics ready to discuss. I just think it's more general laziness by GMs than anything else.

Details/gloating, as promised: - We went 5-0, meaning we have won 8 straight.
- We lead the league in PPG (105.8), 3P% (.428) and FG% (.506), and we are 3rd in APG (20.9).
- On a more depressing note, our defense is middle-of-the-pack at absolute best, and we are 26th in the league in TOPG.
