I personally find the sims too spaced out if they are not going to be live. I think that much time between sims is what causes so much inactivity. I would do a sim every 2 days. I was going to list all the reasons this was a bad idea, but I decided against it...lets just say it isn't going to work with this current set of GMs and move on. Clearly you are one of the few here who is super-excited and ready to get this thing moving, but trust me when I say that for most it is like herding sheep just to get 2 sims a week worth of activity done... More frequent sims = less updated DCs. With no live sim taking an hour to perform, I don't see why it's a huge investment to update 10-15 rosters and sim. I have been a commissioner before. I'd also rather sim 3 times a week rather than do it on a Friday if I were commissioner, but to each his own. At the end of the day, London's doing great work. What I would like really like to see though is a posted sim schedule (I don't believe there is one yet)

Had an awful 2-5 sim. My offense is dreadful. I'm in need of a 2nd scorer... badly.

5-3. Not great. Got major problems at SF. Will need to make the lineup adjustments.

I'm very impressed with Moscow. Their defense is stellar. On the other hand, I am surprised Tehran is doing so poorly. IMO it has to be his DC settings.

My team is now 3-10. Started 3-4, but lost all 6 games this sim. We struggle to score 90, having past the plateua onlyonce this sim. 2 games of sub-80 points also. We suck.

They need a big. I'm shocked how serviceable Scolari is. Great PerD team. Tehran should be better. I think they'll figure I out. They're on an uncharacteristic streak, like Berlin but in the opposite direction.

9-5 overall now, first in a weak division.. We dominate teams at home with a 7-1 record, not so much on the road.. We definatly need to upgrade the sf spot but other than that we're not as horrible as we thought

What's even more insane is that his 5 starters are all greater than +9 in +/-...that's amazing. His starting unit is wiping teams off the floor, but he lacks depth.

More sims where we go undefeated. Currently riding a 7 game win streak thanks to the new depth chart .

And by new depth chart I mean George Mikan dominating games and apparently we are pretty offensively efficient.

We're starting to figure this out a little bit.
The games we're losing, we're only losing by a couple points. If I could get Arizin playing right, we'd be pretty good.

We still aren't dominant on the defensive boards, which I thought we could be with Mikan and Gallatin. That is a concern going forward.

Yeah only had my phone last night so I couldn't post but I only went 4-3 this sim. REAL Madrid decided to beat me in back to back meetings but I did manage to take one away from you Chicago. Dolph Shayes was still very impressive in our game though, 29 points off 13 shots. Anyways, I have to agree with you guys. My defense has been phenomenal and I am very pleased with that but my depth is hurting me. My bigs aren't so terrible but my backup SF and backup PG are. I definitely need to figure out a way to get some depth on my team. As for Scolari I have mixed emotions on him. His +/- is very good as is his defense but his shooting is lack luster and hew has games where he goes 1-12 from the floor. All in all Im pleased with my team and just need some work to get me in legit contention for the title IMO.

Almost forgot. My backcourt is creates an insane amount of turnovers. Nedef, Volnov, and Scolari are all in the top 25 in steals with 2.5, 2.0, and 1.6. Good defense and creating turnovers are winning me a lot of games. Just need more depth and maybe some scoring as well.

I think that's a big reason why your team is so good.

4-2 this time around. We beat CSKA twice, which is very encouraging. The first time was by 18 with Borgmann shooting 8-14 for the usual 27/3/2/3. Jenkins added 20/6/6/3. The second time, also on our homecourt, was by 6. Borgmann scored 30 points on 12-18 shooting and Fats chipped in with 19/3/13/2. Defense means a lot, but it means little against the best backcourt in the league. Eat it.
We also blew out the 9-5 Titans by 31. Yardley had a monster 15/14 game in 22 minutes. I really like how in blow-outs, in this game, the AI won't play your starters 40+ minutes. This game was like the preseason for me. I got to see what some of my bench guys could do in starter or large rotational minutes.
We also beat Athens by 2 thanks to 32 points from Borgmann and 27/9 from Fats. They combined to shoot 21-37.
On the downside, we lost to Berlin by 11, whose team I really like. This I blame on Jenkins and his 3-14 shooting and 6 turnovers. We also lost to Syndey by 3 in OT. Everyone played great, but I blame this one on Embry's 2-10 shooting and Karabelen fouling out.
My frontcourt still blows, actually more than it has before. No one scores, no one shoots well, everyone fouls, everyone gets tired, and no one can play extended minutes. But, we have the hands down best scorer in the league, the second best assist man in the league, and the overall best backcourt in the league. Borgmann's shooting a ridiculous 49% from 3 while shooting over 7 per game.

Yeah, Bianci did a good job of shutting down Jenkins...I'd be intrigued to see how our team's fared in a 7 game playoff series.
