Pride-era Hendo is one of my all time favs.
I really wish that they had kept the Pride Belts at least for the first champion vs champion fights.

I'm distraught after tonight. Silva had that coming to him. I love his clowning as much as the next guy, but he did this starting in Round 1, which he handedly lost, then continued to do this in round 2... No idea what his strategy was, he had Weidman clearly engaging in stand up but he didn't mount any offense.

Actually, Silva did produce some offense. He threw some nasty stepping leg kicks and landed a few punches between the end of round 1 and the middle of round 2. I honestly think he's been waiting for someone to knock him out. He gave Weidman his chin and Weidman actually connected well enough to win, unlike anyone else.

I cant be happier with last night. Get knocked the fuck out Silva. I've been watching him taunt and toy with his opponents for 5 years and its about time he gets knocked out while doing it. Its so stupid because Silva is so good that he could go in there and destroy most of his opponents in the first minute but instead he taunts and acts cocky before he does and its really annoying to watch. Im glad he got knocked out, it opens up the middleweight class and we wont have to watch anymore stupid fights where the better fighter just runs around and acts like a douche. Get some real class back into the division.
I also really enjoyed the Dennis Siver/Cub Swanson fight. Very entertaining and a great finish. Gonzaga knock out was fun as well.

So now that Anderson lost, who do you guys think the best pound for pound fighter in the world is? I'd go with Jon Jones even though I hate him. He just destroys his opponents. GSP is in the discussion but he never finishes fights anymore.

Jones pretty easily, but GSP is a nice 2nd. Pound-for-pound, I would actually take Renan Barao next, although I'm sure most would put Aldo there.

I'm super excited to see what happens when Big Rig and GSP get together. it'd be interesting if its a total changing of the guard takes place and GSP gets caught with one of johnny's bombs...
