With picks coming in from all over (via Detroit, via Tehran, via Buenos Aires, via Seoul, via Batpole) I figured you probably the the best idea of who you actually have on your team.
I'm interested to know who you've got on your roster.
Here's who I have:
C: Monk Meineke PF: Bob Boozer SF: Hank Luisetti SG: Viktor Zubkov PG: Bench: Bench: Bench: Bench: Bench:
[I'll keep this updated as I draft.]

Hah, I have two players:
SG: Bennie Borgmann PG: Fats Jenkins
I'm obviously looking at frontcourt players for my next two picks, unless a guard is just too good to pass up. I like what we have so far, but the next two picks will really define how this team will play.

I think you have one of the best backcourts in the league right now. You should be able to win some games.

Still considering moving Volnov to SG on account of he can't pass but ill have to see what's available. I'm pretty content with my picks so far. I'm a little weak at rebounding but overall I have a pretty well rounded team.

I know in the last game that two-PG lineups were very successful because height didn't matter, PGs sometimes developed to have C- or C rebounding, and their defense usually only went down one grade at SG. We don't know yet the effect of height and athletic attributes, or if defense attributes change (say, Volnov might be worse at perimeter defense against SGs than PGs, but might be better at stealing).

I'm not in love with my team, but I don't dislike it either. I'd give myself like an 8.

Definitely. I was looking at his height and weight and he's a little undersized at SG but he's not small. There were quite a few 6'3 and 6'4 guys at 190-200 and in real life he played guard/forward (I know it doesn't translate but still) so I'm hoping for the best. He doesn't have much for handles or passing so he's not much of a PG to me at this point. Only time will tell.

I'd give myself an 8 or 9 so far. I'm very happy with my balanced scoring and defense up to this point.

I'm pretty happy with my team so far, all mid twenties with room for growth and all three play inside. I have defense, rebounding and scoring. Now is the time to fill in the smaller parts.

I'm not overly happy ATM. I was hoping to want to build to win out of the gate but with what was left in the first at the end of the round it seemed better to grab some youth. I've got great low post D, but not much else. Selvy should be an offensive weapon for me, but how much of a liability will the defense be for me?

Big fan of Johnny Green. I seen him the other day and was wondering where he would go. I figured if he'd be there in the 4th I might go after him, hes a great defender.

I'm looking over some of these early rosters and I am liking quite a few of these teams.
Washington looks good on paper, so does New York early on. Hell Moscow looks fun (and talented) while Madrid maybe has the best starting backcourt in the league. I know Beijing has been sticking to a plan and Sunderlage is a talent!
Chicago has made a lot of good moves, and Boston has talent too but I haven't seen their lists yet so I don't know exactly what they have in place.
Tough to say how this plays out year one.

i really hope this game doesn't screw me over because i'm drafting based on the attributes that i choose for my team. If the attributes have no direct affect or correlation to my wins than i would have drafted differently. More on the defensive side

You've got so much shooting. It's going to be tough to stop you. I'm doing the same thing but in the opposite way. I'm going to slow teams to a halt and make them try to beat me in a half-court, low-scoring game. I don't think anyone will want to come and watch my brand of basketball.

I agree with both of you haha. All of the teams are shaping out in very different ways and there are quite a few talented teams as well as quite a few young teams working towards a team that can compete in the future.
Beijing- Im doing the same thing. Been going after good jump shooters and tried to get decent passers (see Miasek). So hopefully it helps them out when Im focusing on those attributes.

Feeling very good right now...Have passing, have scoring, have defense and rebounding. Should be interesting to see how things shake out in the next round.
