not that impressive considering I don't even have one player on my team.

C: Bones McKinney PF: Neil Johnston SF: Jim Pollard SG: Al Cervi PG: Mel Riebe
Bench: Chuck Noble (SG) Bench: Bench: Bench: Bench:
I've build this team going for a few standout defenders, avoiding having any poor defenders, a balanced scoring attack, and a PG who can control the ball and avoid turnovers.

Well added a PG, and have a pick in a couple to add more pieces. No trades for me yet.
C: Bill Spivey PF: SF: SG: Frank Selvy PG: John Moir
Not sure if I stretched for Moir or not. I was worried about good PGs when Arnette came off the board a little earlier then I expected.

Point Guards are going to be a humungous commodity.

C/PF: Wayne Embry SF: George Yardley SG: Bennie Borgmann PG: Fats Jenkins
I picked up two big names in Embry and Yardley to counteract the lack of name recognition in the first two rounds. I also went young twice in a row (Yardley should be a rookie), which might've surprised people. Essentially, it gives me more flexibility and the possibility for those two to improve quite a bit. Neither of them fit my GM Preferred Skills (Inside Scoring, Shooting, and Defensive Rebounding), but I thought they were the best value around. Also, I have 2 A's and 2 A-'s in stamina in my starting lineup, so it'll be nice not to have to rely so much on my bench.
Plus, Embry's player page makes him look almost as good as some of those first round picks, although I'm not sure which of those pages is more accurate.
As for Point Guards, I feel like they're everywhere. I had to discard about 10 of them worthy of my pick just because I already had Fats Jenkins. Now, PGs who can pass the ball are pretty rare. Fats himself even went from having A- passing in the FA list to C+ passing on my team page.

I should have gone with a big, but decided to go young with Rafael Valle. We'll see how that shapes out

Mines in the sig,
PG: John Beckman SG: SF: PF: LeRoy Edwards C: Chuck Share
Not too bad, Share and Edwards compliment each other well I think and Beckman is the scoring threat. Will see what I can get in the next couple rounds to fill out the team. Still a little disappointed I didnt get a deal done for another 2nd rounder but still have my picks so that gives my options for trades when the season starts.

Yeah I was thinking about implementing one but if you start adding players this round I probably won't need to worry about it.

I don't think you can create a minimum salary cap at this point in the game, maybe for next year though. Well you can but it wouldn't be right. I doubt anyone trades for my picks now so at some point I will have to make a few picks.

As of right now... I'm going small around Wilt.
Wilt Mirchev (high hopes for him.. not sure if he can play PF but a nice young defender/rebounder) Howell Riminucci PG
I think I have a good balance of youth while being effective now.. all my players are 24 or under, need a veteran PG and some depth now.
I still have the 30th in this round, and then the 1st in Rd 5, so I'm not too worried about filling in my PG and bigman needs.

After the most recent roster update, I have to say I'm pretty excited about Mihai Nedef.
B+ Inside B Junpshot B+ Free Throws C+ Handles (with B potential) B+ Defense
Hopefully I can run my offense through him between his scoring and his handles.
