Most Kings fans are just happy they're not in Seattle. This year they're competing, though their record may show otherwise (most of their losses have been pretty close games). Cousins has matured quite a bit and is playing consistently well. McLemore has loads of potential, a great looking shot and athleticism. Isaiah Thomas is a super sub. If we can manage to get one of the elite draftees this year, the future is looking pretty bright.

I have Demarcus Cousins and Isaiah Thomas in my fantasy league as well so I watch their games every once in a while and Im a huge fan of both. They have both gotten better since last year and Demarcus is on his way to being a superstar, no doubt in my mind about that.

Only thing stopping DMC is DMC ... lol. His attitude is, poor. I think he figures it out a few years earlier than Z-Bo and has similar career (a taller more athletic version).

I agree and disagree at the same time. I agree that he stops himself, and that his attitude is kind of poor at the moment but at the same time, his attitude is also what makes him as good as he is. He doesnt go easy and if he doesn't like a call or play he isn't afraid to speak up. Apparently him on the court and off the court is pretty different and if he can find a way to use his attitude to his advantage or use it to annoy an opponent instead of the refs or himself, he could really take it to the next level.
I think its a matter of picking his spots and understanding that his attitude can be used to his advantage. I read a little on him and what they are trying to get him to do is use that attitude and that aggression to battle with his opponent and get a good position and then when the ball comes his way, switch to more finesse game then the physical/aggressive play that gets him fouls, turnover, and gets him arguing with the refs. I think if he utilizes it instead of succumbing to it, he could really flourish.

His attitude is actually much improved (minus the stubborn, but hilarious, refusal to shake hands or allow anyone else to shake hands with an LA Clipper). A lot of teams/players try to get to him but he's played it cool and walked away many times. I think the confidence the new ownership and coach have shown in him have helped immensely. He still has some maturing to do, but talent-wise he's studly.

Oh let me make this clear, his work ethic is as top notch as they come. It is pure immaturity and he does need to understand what a PRO is. Z-Bo was likely a bad reference because off the court he isn't a terrible person. I think he takes the KG level of intensity WAY too far. Never will I say don't be intense or anything to that nature but his silly mistakes and issues are holding him back from being a super star. Talent level, there is no big man save maybe AD or Drummond I'd take over him. Not even Dwight.

As of right now, Drummond is one of my keepers for my fantasy league, the other is between Curry, Lillard, Isiah Thomas, or Carter-Williams. I have quite the PG conundrum to deal with. Granted my bigs are solid all around with Drummond, Monroe, Dwight, Z-Bo, Favors, Drummond still has the brightest future.

So Gay to the Kings. Yahoo says they see him as a stretch four. Which makes little sense with Derrick Williams just being traded for. If they can get that figured out Cousins/Gay/Williams and Thomas could be a good nucleus for them.

That team will have no ball movement whatsoever. Vasquez was the only player on the Kings who was a willing passer, and they replaced him with the biggest chucker/isolation player in the NBA. Toronto should be in all-out tank mode, but replacing the negative that is Rudy Gay and inserting Vasquez (over Augustin) and Patterson (maybe over Hansbrough) might actually make them better.

Add hometown/country boy Andrew Wiggins and you have happy Raptors fans again

Add hometown/country boy Andrew Wiggins and you have happy Raptors fans again No way the NBA allows Toronto to win the lottery. He'd be there for 3 years and bolt, there are no storylines there.

So I am watching the Heat/Pacer game while making dinner and started wondering how Shane Battier is not seen as the dirtiest player in the league?

First deadline deal, Deng to the Cavs for Bynum and 3 picks (2 2nds and a 1st). Interesting deal for all side, Chicago can't afford all of the guys but hard to say if this is more then a 1yr deal for Deng then FA again.
OKC needs to get in on some deadline moves. Andre Miller is available it sounds like, but the Thunder don't want to deal with Luxury tax. So I guess we'll just 2nd round exit again because they refuse to get more pieces around Durant and Russ.

Rumored Eastern All-Star Jerseys. They are really going with this sleeved jersey thing. But that's not even the worse thing about these jerseys possibly being real.

Why does the NBA want these sleeved jerseys so bad? I think they look hideus. Do they think more people would wear these out in the wild cause they look like a $10 walmart t-shirt?

Its all about the jersey sales and they clearly believe people will buy jerseys with sleeves more than without.

I guess as somebody who used to buy lots of basketball jerseys back in the day, I never found it hard to wear a white t-shirt underneath it. There things are ugly as fuck.

They're not horrible, actually. They're more in line with what someone might wear in public. "White t-shirt under basketball jersey" is a pretty horrible early-90s looking thing, so unless you're bumping Boyz II Men at the same time, few things look as dated and ill-advised.

Completely agree with the white t-shirt under the jersey being... terrible. When I wear that 44 Pistol Jersey on rare occasions... I try to wear a t-shirt with same colors in jersey but still terrible. However... Boyz II Men is good stuff. Lol
