Any updated thoughts on Gotham? I am still watching. It slowly has grown on me...I was ready to punch out completely around episodes 3 and 4 but hung in there, and now I'm really into it. Lol.. finally I show I watch that others do. Nice! Any updated thoughts on Gotham? I am still watching. I did not see that plan with Penguin coming. I am thoroughly enjoying the show still. Beijing, watching Red Band Society tonight? Apparently Mandy Moore (mmm..) is making an appearance tonight.

I usually watch shows the day after in my spare time so I'll likely watch tomorrow. Side note: I thought Mandy Moore's career died with her character in A Walk to Remember....? (Sorry for the spoiler)

Quick update, I've weeded down the new shows I've been watching to The Flash (pretty good so far), How to Get Away with Murder (still the best new show this season), Gotham (hit or miss depending on the week), Forever (it's pretty meh now but I'm getting a Castle vibe so I'm hanging in there for another couple weeks) and Gracepoint...my question is, is anyone else watching Gracepoint, and if so, why? The show isn't very good...are you like me and just hanging in there because it's a 10 episode mini-series and want to see how it ends? Or are you seeing something in this show that I'm missing?
Also, a quick aside to KK...I checked up on Scorpion this week. It still sucks. That is all.

I watch:
Gotham - Certainly hit or miss The Flash - Just getting involved really, enjoying a few story lines Scorpion - Just enjoy the intelligence factor, seeing how people rationalize things without emotion since I have a tendency to do so at times myself Red Band Society - Idk, just something about it... completely contradicts with reason for enjoying Scorpion LOL
Think everyone (at least people who been here or read this thread) knows I watched the Secret Life. Funny to see characters from it have a role in The Flash and Red Band Society.

I think it's definitely an abstract approach to plot development with the way everyone seems involved but I'll finish it out and be done. Won't be sad it's over. I've also been watching Constantine and Mulaney. I think Mulaney is Fox's attempt at a younger generation Seinfeld but i don't know if it'll stick. It has its moments but at other times is just simply not good. As for Constantine, not fully on board with it yet but I'll keep watching to see if it goes anywhere.

I haven't seen any of The Flash. Is there an easy way to catch up?
Will they be running a marathon?

It's only like 6 episodes in...too soon for a marathon. Do you have Hulu Plus? I know it's on there.

I was about ready to quit on Graceland when the last couple of episodes have slowly started getting me interested. Great concept I think just a little too much clutter (intentional) to keep the pacing of the plot fast enough to keep me really interested. Gonna finish it out since I have already gone this far hehe

FYI - How to Get Away with Murder had it's fall finale last night. It was amazing. If you aren't watching this show, I don't know what you are doing with your lives...
With that being said, the show is on hiatus for two months due to ABC's scheduling, but they are starting the show from episode 1 next week, so anyone interested in checking it out from the beginning can do so. Again...it's the best new thing going on TV.

I know you're a Shonda Rhimes fan Do you still watch Grey's? I'm too invested to give up now. Last week's episode was pretty amazing, finally connected 10 years of Richard and Ellis storyline. lol Yes, I'm a Rhimes's fan, though I've never gotten into Scandal. I have, however, seen every episode of Grey's, and I agree, it's good they have finally tied the Richard and Ellis stoyline up with a nice little bow after all these years. Ellis is dead, Adell is dead...might as well throw some resolution into that. See this weeks episode? I thought this year would suck without Christina but it's been great imo

I thought she was the best person on the show the past five seasons or so, so the fact the show has been this decent without her is surprising.

What's American horror story like? I see lots of vines and tweets about it I watched the first two seasons and really enjoyed them all, it's unlike any show out there and really enjoyed how each episode there was a different character (usually a guest star) with their own storyline. For what it's worth I thought season 2 was better. I haven't seen 3 or 4 yet, but a friend of mine who I recommended the show to didn't like it at first but is now addicted and says 4 is the creepiest because of clowns in it. It's definitely a "you either enjoy it or don't care for it" kind of deal but once I gave it a shot I wasn't disappointed. Sorta like Gotham, which I am recently catching up with.

Gotham I like. Wish they would do more with Bruce Wayne. Seems like his butler has a bigger role in the show.

Gotham I like. Wish they would do more with Bruce Wayne. Seems like his butler has a bigger role in the show. It's interesting you say that because most people I have spoke to about the show feel the opposite way. They feel that the show shouldn't focus much on Bruce at least not this early on. At first I was in a similar boat (also dislike all the forced in Selina Kyle stuff) but the recent focus on Bruce has been better so I don't mind it as much.

To be fair I haven't watched last week's episodes, so I don't know how much Bruce was in that one, but I am one of the people who wants to see very little Bruce. Like none if possible. This is supposed to be Gotham when Bruce was a child...a gritty cop show based around Gordon with little nods and cameos towards future Gotham figures. So far, it's working (ish), as the city and it's corrupt shit is interesting enough on it's own. I don't need this to be Smallville 2.0, where we watch Bruce Wayne for 10 seasons grow from a Hardy Boy (boyhood detective, not cocaine-abusing WWE superstar) into the Dark Knight. That worked for a Superman series because Superman basically always had his powers, it just took him a while to figure out the costume and shit...following around a 12 year old solving mysteries like Encyclopedia Brown isn't as much fun.
