As for Ponder he just isn't the QB that should be starting period. They have got to have a better backup than him I mean really.

Yea with their addition of Boldin that definitely makes them a team to be reckoned with both offensively and defensively. I know losing Crabtree sucked but Boldin has definitely done well for at least 1 week that.

Yes and the Pats aren't very good. Run game is limited and Brady has me and you for targets.

Well they certainly aren't as explosive as in previous seasons, but you have to give them credit they have found a way to win still. But they just don't have the receivers who can make a difference.

Boldin definitely helps especially with Crabtree out. Their defense has been among the best for a while now. Sunday vs the Seahawks should be a great game -- as will seeing Russell Wilson with one eyebrow.

yeah wild, they look infinitely better, Vacarro was a great pick He hasn't been great tbh. A lot of it has to do with the pressure up front and the ability to make teams one dimensional (whichever they choose).

He may not be GREAT but they had him lining up in all different positions on the field, even had him matched up as a cornerback on Vincent Jackson on a few plays. There arent many rookies who would be able to do what he's done from a versatility standpoint in only their second career game

Had the lowest defensive rating on the team last game. I know he'll be a good one but he hasn't played well yet.

Trust me, as a Cowboys fan, who had Rob Ryan as a coordinator for the last 2 years, Vaccarro is playing solid enough. The Cowboys biggest problem the last couple years with Ryan as a coordinator was that we did not have safeties who could handle their assignments given the pressure that Rob likes to bring. Even if he had the lowest rating on the team, hes already played well enough as their weak link that theyve been vastly improved on defense. You are only as strong as your weak link and Vaccarro is a hell of a lot better of a weak link than Gerald Sensabaugh, Barry Church, Alan Ball, Abram Elam, etc, that I watched destroy a defense

Oh trust me, we had the worst defense ever yardage wise last year. He's helped for sure but still not playing well. He's a 1st rounder, by all accounts he should be Top 3 on the defense in a year or two. These guys expected to come in and contribute right away.

Out of nowhere Trent Richardson dealt to the Colts. This just shows how in-ept the Browns staff is. I know he dealt with rib injuries and still had a decent year with absolutely no help whatsoever. I wonder why he wasn't shopped openly to get a real deal here. 1 1st rounder from a team that could be a playoff team next season seems extremely low for a back these days. I would have loved him in Denver for just as bad of a deal to have a back of the future

I would have loved him in Denver for just as bad of a deal to have a back of the future Just to play devil's advocate, lets not forget that last season everyone though that the Browns reached dramatically picking Richardson at #3 in the first place...he then proceeded to average 3.5 yards a carry in this career in Cleveland, so it's not like he's done anything there. With all that said, I completely agree that this is a ridiculous deal. New Browns management has completely given up on what old Browns management did, leading to a hasty deal that could end up biting them in the ass.

I think the Richardson deal will be a win for the Browns.
I don't believe in him and getting a 1st back isn't a bad deal. They now have two picks in the 1st, the 2nd and the 4th rounds in this draft (and I think they have their 3rd).
Set up nicely for a rebuild.

I think it is win win tbh. Solidifies Colts Offense in my mind the way Pep coaches and gives Browns new regime a complete reset.

After having some time to look at things a second time I can see it both ways. I would just imagine that they should have been able to get something more for him. He wasn't helping them win games as is, so I don't see the rush to trade him yet before the deadline. Unless there is something unknown about him they still would have ended up with a top 3 pick this season so I don't see how adding a second late 1st next year will bring anything more then he already could bring to the table by getting a new QB so teams can't stack the box against him. Who knows, I just don't want to see Indy succeed in the long run so now I root against Trent.

Was it Jim Brown who (pre-draft) called Trent Richardson an "ordinary back".
He didn't get what all the fuss was about.
