These trades are getting remarkably questionable...it was one thing when teams were getting at least a measly 2nd rounder out of it...now we are trading for players and cutting them outright in the same thread?

Actually, this trade is denied under rules that are currently in place. Under #3 of the Community and Fairness section of the rules, it states:
3) No TANKING or COLLUSION. You must play your best players. No giving away talented expiring for worse expiring, you must get something back of value, such as a pick or youth.
Here, Toronto is getting a sign and trade player and a player they immediately are cutting, meaning they essentially are getting a free agent they could have signed themselves and the cap penalty of a player they clearly never wanted. This is dealing expiring for worse expiring...DENIED.

You offered me trade where the picks were "equivalent" but I'd be throwing in Banhegyi.. So you essentially would get him for free as per your positioning. No worries though, I'm ok with it being denied, doesn't impact my team in any way.

didn't even think of that when it was offered to me. Makes sense your reasoning Plossl. Seer I sent you a pm if you are interested.

I offered you something where picks were actually involved...you literally had the balls to trade for a FA and a player you cut IN THE SAME THREAD. Tell me that's the same.

I did not say the two trades were the same. Calm down.

alright no offense, this guy is a 3rd stringer at best in my opinion. I'll withdrawal any interest in this guy. I was just curious to try him at sg. I'll let you guys work out the rest.

lol I get a little fired up when you question my motives...but no one is saying you guys can't rework the deal...just swap something of actual value for the guy. No one batted an eye when the Huskies was giving away guys for a 2nd rounder (as little value as that might be).

Yeah the problem is Banhegyi isn't worth a second.. That's fine though, he's not impacting my team one way or another, he can stay.

do you have to cut Unal? I think if you kept him you would have been fine. A young post player (albeit crappy) for a crappy old guard. Big deal

no drama over this guy. It really makes 0 difference to any of us. This guy is a scrub. Its a deal between scrubs.

yes plossl is right, I didn't realize Seer was going to cut the guy he got. I think we were saying its fine because the player is a scrub anyway.
