Boston gets the girl, but I don't think they the adulation of millions just yet. Clearly Spivey goes for undervalue, but he never fit in the Berlin scheme. He's a black hole on offense, and he needs to be on a team with someone who scores 25 a game somewhere to make up for his 7 or 8 a game at center to balance things out. I didn't have that player on ALBA, so things didn't work. Boston has that guy in Baylor, so he's a better fit on the Celtics. Still, I would like to have gotten a third 1st out of someone...but that deal just fell apart...

Boston gets the girl but it feels tacked on.
I like this deal for BOS but Berlin gets a couple of picks in a deep draft. He'll find good value and Haynes isn't completely a scrub either.

I think this is a win win. I think Berlin could have possibly done better but who knows. Definitely like it for Corey, could work out well for John as well.

Doubt you'll be at 8 this year.
Maybe next.

yeah I think these couple of deals sets up america nicely for next year but I'm not convinced I'll be any better than 500 the rest of the way out. Corey should be better but even he thinks he has some issues to figure out.

Corey's team needs to mature and he needs to use his caproom.
Roark just took a nosedive after dealing away the talent that got him to the Finals last year.
You added 2 teams on the rise but have completely lost a different one.
It's too early to tell yet who has the stronger conference this season but I like Eurasia's chances.

i am not arguing that we are the better conference. I dont' think that is the case at all. I was just saying that I think America will be better next year.

I'm not saying you are arguing that (but Brazil was )... I think it's a lot closer than it was last year and it may be pretty evenly split right now. Just tough to tell with all the moving pieces.

yeah i agree with you more than I agree with Brazil at this point. Interesting point will be how some of the older but very good teams transition in the next few years

Enough of this talk about conferences! More talk about how good of a trader I am!

Sigh. Boston destroyed this deal. The 2015 pick might not even be lotto, and 2017 definitely won't be.

17 wont be.
15 I think will be.
I agree with Boston that he has too many holes to put together a real contender but with MC slipping out of the 8th spot they may be able to sneak in.

This year's pick is certainly lotto. Just late lotto. #8-#10. Could get a rotation player, but no one at Spivey's level.
UNLESS. The luck of the Irish strikes again. #1 pick for Berlin? I wouldn't cry about it - I'd be excited that Eurasia got a good rookie, finally!
