Not sure Stan is really better than Carpenter and get a young piece. CSKA wins by a bit.

It's OK for San Antonio, but i think that prospect could have fetched more. Love it for CSKA

To be fair Carpenter has no offensive game whatsoever and he also has very poor stamina. I think it was an alright trade for both and I also think Miasek is better then his stats indicate.

It's OK for San Antonio, but i think that prospect could have fetched more. Love it for CSKA I tried to package Dischinger and Tibor/Hundley for an upgrade at SG and got no offers. The reason why I thought Stan was better than Carp was because Carpenter couldn't stay on the floor and always got into foul trouble. Miasek put up a 16 PER so far and last year had a 21 PER. Also Carpenter's Value Added stat was -32 while Miasek's VA is 26 so far. That's why I felt Stan was an upgrade over Carp. Dischinger could be nice down the road but we'll see. |
