BIO
Name: Chris Paul
Position: PG
Number: 3
DOB: May 6, 1985
Age when drafted: 20
College: Wake Forest University
Hometown: Winston-Salem, North Carolina
Height: 6'
Weight: 175 lbs
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
STRENGTHS: Paul has been one of the league's premier playmakers since he entered the league. He is continually among the league leaders in assists and has been able to keep his TO numbers down throughout his career. As a scorer, Paul has been inconsistent from 3 point throughout his career, but has shown potential to improve as he gets older. He excels inside of 18 feet, equipped with a plus jump shot and the ability to finish around the room. Defensively, his quickness has helped me to be among the league leaders in steals. His ability to create turnovers should make him a special player defensively. Finally, Paul has been a good rebounder for a PG, managing 5+ rebounds a few times in his career.
WEAKNESSES: The biggest weakness for Paul has always been his inability to guard bigger PG's and gambling too much for steals. Paul's size is something that will limit his ability to achieve the special 'purple' status, and should hurt his perimeter defense some. As mentioned before, Paul's 3point shot is inconsistent at best, and he's had some pretty poor years behind the arc. His role will primarily be as playmaker.
SIGNIFICANT INFO: 8x All-Star, 4x NBA 1st Team, 2x NBA 2nd Team, 1x NBA 3rd Team, Rookie of the Year, 5x All NBA Defense 1st, 2x NBA All Defense 2nd
