I'm voting London by a bit because they got the best player in the deal..
I think some at first glance will think I got hosed... But quality does not beat quality. I had several offers where I'd obtain 6-8 solid pieces but none at the caliber or age of Jan and Booz. I'm happy with the deal and it leaves me with the option of keeping Bianci and Howell and making it work like this, or going complete rebuild... We'll see.
Congrats London, your perseverance paid off.

Well. Boozer going to be nice I believe but I don't think Jan gets any better than he is now. May even decline early in his career. Getting Wilt without crippling his team means he wins by alot.

I voted even, since both guys got exactly what they wanted and needed...and I might be the one person who thinks Toronto got a good deal. Would I have liked for him to get a 1st thrown in for good measure? Sure. But let's not look at Wilt like he is a 30/20 machine or we all envision he should be. He is the best center in the league...but that means 25 and 12 a game tops. At some point (unless you are a super stud like Oscar or Baylor), your value as a single player on a team maxs out, and getting two studs in return is actually a good deal. Boozer and Jan are both 21, 4 years younger than Wilt. Boozer, already one of the top PF in the league (he was All-NBA Defensive first team last season at age 20), projects to be THE best within the next year or two. Jan, lest we forget, put up 17 a game last year as a rookie, winning the rookie of the year award. John just put 2k PP to work him out, increasing his already high potential.
If I'm John, I make this deal in a heartbeat because I have a lot of top-flight players, so I can take the hit. But talent-wise? I think Seer wins this one, if not this season, then for the next five to ten...

He is just another one of those wing chunkers. 41% and shooting a crap ton with me isn't exactly a good way to score 17 PPG. Boozer is nice and amazing defensively but won't ever live up to be Wilt unless he gets a nice inside boost. I understand why Toronto does it though and I don't hate it for him as much as I love it for London. That make sense?

I hear what you are saying...but you have no clue if that is true or not...you have no clue if Jan will improve defensively at some point AFTER HIS ROOKIE YEAR. SF is at this point the weakest position in the league, and Toronto scores not only a star in the making at the position, but a 21 year old coming off a top rookie campaign. But if you want to write off players starting their second year and saying they'll never improve in certain areas, maybe we should trade more...

You gave me Ramsey because I gave up on waiting for Lil Z.

Wilts PER was 29. London wins, although its decent value.

London Wins because there was no reason to trade Wilt.
Toronto just made the championship and could have added additional pieces to augment the squad but instead traded the best player in the league. The reasoning of "this was the best offer" is just dumb logic if you ask me.

The reasoning of "this was the best offer" is just dumb logic if you ask me. 1. My reason for trading Wilt was not "this was the best offer". That was my reason for accepting THIS offer. My reasons for trading Wilt are well documented in the trade block and elsewhere. 2. I don't know what you mean by "made the championship" 3. Yes if I could have "added additional pieces" I would have. Thanks for that analysis. 4. Yes there was a reason to trade Wilt - because I was barely a .500 team last year in a shit conference and I don't find it interesting to run with the same roster and DC perpetually - playoff run or not. It's a sim league. It's here to entertain me. Thar's my reason for trading Wilt. Obviously you're entitled to your opinion though And sure this may backfire, that's the fun of a sim league. Not sitting around with a non-championship squad and having no assets to improve it.

John is stacked. I like it for him. Don't dislike it for Toronto. I am curious had I not went camping with the fam if I could have gotten Wilt. Seer and I will have to discuss. John gets a guy to watch now so good for him.

I like it for London because he basically got a sure thing for a very good prospect.

I like it for London because he basically got a sure thing for a very good prospect. Boozer is a bit more than a prospect (and so is Jan). Both are good to very good players. But ultimately, you're right, Wilt should be the best player in this trade.
