Since this is the 1st 3way trade in the league
Chicago Receives KC Jones (Sydney) Gordan McCrea (Tehran) Cleo Hill (Tehran)
Sydney Receives Antonio Diaz-Miguel (Tehran) Carl Braun (Tehran) Milo Komenich (Chicago)
Tehran Receives Larry Costello (Sydney) Mel Riebe (Chicago) Jim Slaughter (Sydney) Tugrul Demir (Chicago) Bill Yancy (Sydney) Jerry Mlynarczyk (Sydney) Jack Parr (Sydney) 2015 1st (Chicago) 2017 1st (Chicago)

I stand by my belief that it was a mutually beneficial trade

Chicago won the most (assuming they are still relevant in three years, since they gave up their pick and they are easily the oldest overall team in the league), Sydney did well and Tehran makes no sense whatsoever. They give players that would likely garner either youth or better picks in a different deal, yet they give them up for this? The best they can get for ADM is really Costello, Riebe and two awful firsts? And that isn't factoring in they also give up Braun and McCrea, who would likely have drawn more than the two firsts on their own...I don't know what direction Tehran is intending, but I know where they are going...down the toilet.

Why would you compare Costello to ADM? I think when you compare Riebe to ADM, I am not giving up anything. Riebe has similar passing, and perimeter d. Riebe is better offensively, he has a B+ inside, ADM is a good shooter but he wouldn't configure into an offensive scheme. After that I give up Braun and McCrea. I get Costello who I think is better than Braun. McCrea is a better post defender then anything I got, but I also got a good post defender in Slaughter and Tugrul who is a good rebounder. I am not even mentioning the 1sts, I think just when you look at the players I don't lose much. Hell, you could argue the amount I gain from Braun for Costello justifies McCrea. Or that 2 for 1 for McCrea makes sense since it is a slight downgrade for depth.

No one is comparing Costello to ADM...we are lumping him with Riebe and the picks for ADM because that is essentially the price you got for him, and you lost there. The rest of the players you gave away for free. And comparing ADM to Riebe is assinine.

Chi-Town: Gave nothing of value up to get a starting PG (only weakness) ... FUDGE!!!!!!!!
Sydney: Got better at PG but don't like Braun at all (liked Costello much more) ... Middle of Road.
Tehran: Uhhh bro you gave best assets for what exactly? Going for the Lotto I guess?
