I was assuming we'd do Round 1 Wednesday, Round 2 Thursday, Semi-Finals/Finals Friday...since last season we did Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday. But I guess it all comes down to how busy John is this week. |

Being such an important sim its surprising semis and the final is done during the same sim. I cant see why the semi's cant be simmed 1 day and the very next day the championship sim is done. That way the 2 teams battling for the crown can make changes depending on the opposition theyre up against and the championship sim becomes more of a show piece. |

Its just a time thing. 30 teams are already out and care more about the lotto being simmed than waiting 24 hours to see if either Finals team wants to make a lineup swap when 98% of the time they will just say SAME anyway. We've had it before (either in previous ABCAs or in the first couple seasons here) where we waited to hear from the two Finals teams, and it was just a time drain since it was always a pair of SAMEs. Assuming they aren't there for the sim, when in doubt, teams know they can send John a lineup for either team they might face in the next round by PM...I've actually done that before I think. |
