Name: Micheal Joseph Dunleavy Jr. Position: Small Forward Number: 34 DOB: September 15, 1980 Age when drafted: 2002 NBA Draft (21) College: Duke University Hometown: Fort Worth, Texas Height: 6'9" Weight: 220 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- STRENGTHS: Mike Dunleay Jr. entered the league with the 3rd overall pick in 02 and did not quite reach the potential that is expected of most top 3 picks. Dunleavy was a great shooter from day one straight out of college with a sweet stroke out to the three point line. A decent scorer, he averaged 19 PPG in 07-08 season, a career high. Average rebounder for the wing position with 4.5 RPG for his career. Along with a nice jumpshot he was also really good from beyond the arc shooting 38% for his career. Developed to be a good FT shooter over his career with his last few years being over 80%. Very protective of the ball with a low turnover ratio. WEAKNESSES: Only an average defender on the perimeter, had a slight body type that allowed him to be bullied in the post. Not a good ability to steal the ball or to block shots at his height. SIGNIFICANT INFO: Son of coach Mike Dunleavy. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1-5 rate the following for each category (half points can be given Ins: 3.0 Jps: 4.0 Fts: 4.0 3Ps: 4.0 Hnd: 3.5 Pas: 2.0 ORb: 1.0 DRb: 2.5 PsD: 1.5 PrD: 3.0 Stl: 1.5 Blk: 1.0 Qck: 3.5 Str: 3.0 Jmp: 3.0 St: 4.5
