Random losses, gotta love em.
Still best record in the league with a 5 game lead on 2nd place (in America) but was really expecting like 6-1 (maybe 5-2).
Some of my losses have been weird. Half of them I get (Lakers, Towers, Titans, Kings, Bullets), the other half completely surprised me (REAL, CSKA, Beijing, Philadelphia, Celtics).
I'll see if it's necessary to make some changes.

3-3 sim for us. Did what we had to do by beating Harlem and Brazil only to lose to the worst team in the comp. Despite 3-3 we actually draw closer to a playoff birth.

We go 0-6, our first winless sim ever. We're suddenly in free-fall. This is inexplicable to us since we've made no personal moves or drastic depth chart/game plan changes. Rimas since returning from his injury has been putting up half his usual production; he's like a different player. The only thing simultaneous to all this is Thurl Bailey's request to be traded. What... does he share a locker with Rimas and they're conspiring to shitcan our season? Surely one unhappy player wouldn't have that much impact.
Franca BC is still in sight for the 8-seed but I'm starting not to care. I don't think I can tweak my way out of this...

3-4 without Laimbeer. It's cool that we beat Boston and Milan, but we actually beat New York. Awesome. Tyrone Hill and Elvin Hayes can't stop Rik Smits and Juwan Howard.
Rik Smits continues to beast it up. He's averaging 15/8/3, while shooting 59%, including 72% inside and 49% on jump shots.
In other news, Felton Spencer was awful (shot 4-20), so it looks like Donyell Marshall will be our 4th big moving forward.

5-2 sim with losses to Tehran and Alba. We have historically struggled again Mahram so (although I do not know why) so, I guess that is explainable. Kemp and Stock continue to play at a superstar level as they should. Really happy with the way Pau is playing. In this past sim he averaged 19 PPG, 9.5 RPG, 3.5 APG.
Tough schedule up ahead, lets see what happens.

I put Tmac into my SL and he played great -- only giving him 25mins but still, I'll take that. This move allowed me to have Humphries backup PG and SG and get his 30mins off the bench, which is what I wanted.
Still tinkering with a lot of settings but ultimately just looking to stay healthy.

4-2 sim, with recent addition Imhoff being an instant improvement over what Sabonis was giving us at C. His line this sim was 16.8 ppg, 9.2 rpg, 2.7 bpg...not bad with us running at a high speed and him being the slowest player in the league now. I'm hoping to get a little more out of him with a couple tweaks to my settings, but overall a solid sim, with wins over San Miguel and Los Angeles, teams I couldn't have dreamed of beating when we were in freefall with a 19-21 record. We are 13-7 since, and hopefully we can build a little momentum heading into the playoffs.

6-0 sim, we really needed that since we have a couple tough road games coming up next sim against the Knicks and Sonics. Hopefully we don't lose too much ground to MC next sim since they're on a roll right now.
