Name: Allan Houston Position: SG Number: 20 DOB: April 20, 1971 Age when drafted: 22 College: University of Tennessee Hometown: Louisville, Kentucky Height: 6'6" Weight: 200 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- STRENGTHS: Amazing 3P shooter, the type of skill player that teams in this league is looking to find. For his career Allan shot 40 percent from deep, making him 6th all-time. Combine that with 86 from the line and 44 from the field and you have an excellent shooter that definitely should be able to cash checks for many years in the league. His length at 6'6" and above average athletic ability made him a good defender but he was not going to get steals, blocks or stop a guy from dropping 20 on him. WEAKNESSES: Knee injuries ended his career year. He was considered to be "too quiet" and not aggressive enough. He made it look so effortless that critics called him lazy and disinterested. Other than shooting, Allan was not much of a playmaker, defender or rebounder. SIGNIFICANT INFO: 2× NBA All-Star (2000–2001) The term "amnesty clause," was once referred to as the Allan Houston Rule. Look it up. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1-5 rate the following for each category (half points can be given Ins: 4 Jps: 4.5 Fts: 4 3Ps: 5 Hnd: 3.5 Pas: 3 ORb: 1.5 DRb: 2 PsD: 1 PrD: 2.5 Stl: 1.5 Blk: 1 Qck: 4 Str: 4 Jmp: 4 St:4
