Age when drafted: 19
College: Cal-Berkeley
Hometown: Marietta, Georgia
Height: 6'9

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
STRENGTHS:
"Reef" can score. A lot. He's the kind of guy a team can count on for consistent production in all facets of the offensive game. Decent passer for a guy that was "the man" on a NCAA team at Berkeley. His jumper has a funky release (a definite hitch), but he can hit the J from mid-range. Really is more successful going to the basket, and can convert from the foul line at a decent clip. Decent long-ball shooter for his size, and can be used as a stretch 4 man in some offenses. Can be productive on the glass as well, mostly on the defensive end. Can pass out of the backside double with success. Can swat a few shots and change others with his length...something he could stand to do more of as he matures.
WEAKNESSES:
He sucks on defense. Hard. Effort and consistency a huge issue here. He can defend when he wants to. Problem is, he doesn't want to very often. I guess you could say he's ambivalent on defense most games. He's a combo forward in the sense he really can't guard 3s or 4s very well. Health is also an issue, as he has a bad right knee that has been affecting his lateral quickness quite a bit. Has a big problem with the high dribble on the wing, which will lead to turnover issues. Court vision is OK, but he tends to try to make the great pass instead of the right pass. Most of his problems are maturity-based...he thinks he should be the star...and if he's not, look out.
SIGNIFICANT INFO: Major issues with fouls early in his season at Cal magically righted themselves in league play.
