STRENGTHS: One of the quickest players ever with a killer crossover that allows him to get into the lane, where he excels at drawing contact (8.9 FTA/Game) and is a solid FT shooter (.780). Prolific scorer (26.7ppg) who is an excellent leaper and stronger than his 165 lb frame indicates. Has amazing stamina averaging over 40mpg for career. Dominates an offense at either guard spot but is best as a SG where he can focus on scoring. Great distributor for a scorer (6.2apg) w a very good handle. Uses fast hands to create turnover (2.2 steals per game) and avoids fouls (1.9 fouls per game). Has a well rounded game offensively with the ability to scorer from everywhere and can create a shot at will.
WEAKNESSES: Stature at 6’0” 165 pounds and always drawing contact he takes a pounding which raises questions about his durability (played 80+ games 3 times in 14 year career). Despite great handle is turnover prone at times (3.6/game) but minor concern given his usage rate. Needs to play for a team that will let him dominate the ball/offense. Volume scorer with low overall FG% .425 which is knocked down by his low 3PT% (.313 on 3.7 attempts per game). Although a decent rebounder for size it will never be a strength. More a stealer than a great defender and can be abused in the post by bigger guards.
