Belgrade KK Partizan Trades #12 Pick 2016 1st (Belgrade) Albert Hemmo Juan Luis Cipriani Petko Lazarov
Seattle Sonics Trades Joe Fulks
I'd like to think this was a pretty even trade. Sonics receives some nice youth (#12, 2016 1st, even Cipriani) while I completely go the opposite route and try to win now.

Hmmm...this is an interesting trade to say the least. The three players that KK gives up are crap, throw them out...this is all about #12 and the 2016 1st for Fulks.
On the one hand, KK traded down from a surefire future player to get depth in the draft, then deals one of the picks and their future first for Fulks, one of the top 2 or 3 SF in the game. Coupled with the dealing for Yury, Atanasov and Krebs, KK actually has a starting lineup that is serviceable, though hardly dominant now.
The Sonics, on the other hand, dealt their best player for a mid-level 1st that no one seems to want (the #12 seems to be the hot potato that no one seems to want to get end up with) and a 1st that could be fantastic. With 2 years for Korac and Pistalek to improve, KK could actually get out of the lotto though, and this deal turns into two mediocre picks for the Sonics franchise star.
This might be the first trade I would actually have liked there to be a button for "too early to tell"...if I had to guess, I don't think KK is done yet, and I think he got Fulks at a discount just cause he had cap space available. I'll lean his way until proven wrong...

Never would have seen these KK trades coming pre-lotto. Interested to see what he ends up doing.
I'm in the too early to tell camp as well.

Seattle could get a player I feel is worth Fulks in the draft, but it's not a sure thing.

Pretty even at the moment. KK could wind up in flames again and this 2016 be top 5 or could ACTUALLY shock us all and become relevant and this pick be worthless. Or he could be lotto-ish and this trade is even.
Ohhhh... where oh where oh where is that too early to tell button?

KK is certainly going to have one of the biggest jumps in wins/losses this year.

KK is certainly going to have one of the biggest jumps in wins/losses this year. He might...assuming these two crazy kids can get the caps matched up, cause right now this deal is DECLINED.

You are off by $1205069...not to make your deal for you, but if KK keeps Petko and sends Jiri instead, the deal works.
