I think getting the 1st helps Berlin "win" this deal but SA isn't wrong when he says Reggie seems to have declined. RUH ROH

I'd say it's even. I needed a SF and Berlin needed a SG. Berlin probably wins the trade short term. Long term though, I like the trade better for my team. Reggie declined a little and needs to get camped. He was getting torched on defense last season. I don't think Pierce will be a shut down defender by any means, but I think he could end up being solid defensively. Reggie was a very good 3 point shooter for us but he's a little one dimensional on offense. Pierce potential wise looks similar to Bisson without the shot blocking ability.

I agree I think it's even...Pierce has the better long term potential, but I needed a SG (I didn't want to move Hill all the way down to SG if I didn't have to) and Pierce is...just...so...slow...
Miller is a 3 point shooter that should take advantage of not being forced to be an option in our inside offense, so I think it works well for both teams. And if Bias breaks his leg and the pick becomes gold in what should be a stellar draft class, all the better...

I guess I compared him to Bisson mostly because of their similar size, athleticism, and ability to play multiple positions. I didn't want to compare Pierce to Len or English because that's waay too high of expectations to have. But he does have the potential to be a good 3rd option on a contending team like Bisson.

Think its fairly even, Paul Pierce looks good to me, guess it depends on how well the Spurs do this year.
