Name: Bobby Hurley Position: PG Number: 7 DOB: Born: June 28th, 1971 Age when drafted: 24 (1993) College: Duke Hometown: Jersey City, NJ Height: 6'0 Weight: 165 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- STRENGTHS: Bobby Hurley was an excellent college PG who never got his chance to shine due to a car accident just 19 games into his rookie season. He was an excellent ball distributor and free throw shooter. Unfortunately, Hurley had a stellar college career averaging 17 ppg and 8 apg his senior year, with 1.5 steals, but his pro career stats leave little else to be desired. Will his ABCA counterpart have the potential that he did? WEAKNESSES: Hurley had tremendously high turnover rates (>20%) during his career. He was a poor outside shooter. He could grab a steal but was below average for a PG. He didn't shoot very efficiently overall and didn't get to the line much in his career.
