STRENGTHS:
A gifted athlete, Washburn combined size with speed for a big man with soft hands. As a high school senior he was one of the top college recruits in the nation. Rumor has it that Chris has been seeing counselors and has learned that he has dyslexia and is making huge gains in motivation.
WEAKNESSES:
Washburn's SAT scores which were below 500 out of 1600, you get 400 points as a starting score. That was just the start as he was caught stealing a stereo. Was accused of being lazy and not a very hard worker. Drugs and a lack of smarts derailed what could have been an excellent future.
SIGNIFICANT INFO:
As a Sophmore he averaged 17.6 points and 6.7 rebounds. His size and skills were enough to make him the 3rd over all pick in the 1986 draft. On the night that Len Bais overdosed on Cocaine, Chris was in NYC partying on Cocaine all night.
