Name: Gary Payton Position: PG Height: 6'4 Weight: 203lbs Age: 21 Player Page: Gary Payton (PG)Pros: Gary steps in ready to hit the court on day one and will be able to contribute right away. He already has a developed low post game and is bulky enough to have his way down there. Most importantly Gary already has an above average defensive ability as well as a knack for pickpocketing the man he's defending. Court vision is key to PGs and Gary has it coming out of his mouth, along with somewhere around 12 profanities a game as well. Cons: Not sure it's a big con, but he is pretty run of the mill on the offensive side of the ball. I see him doing alot of his damage in transition, and finishing layups. He won't need to be defended on the outside however so he'll need to be teamed alongside an outside shooting SG in order to not get zone defensed to death in the postseason. Overall: "The Glove" is court ready right now and he'll be ready to contribute to a team right away. I see his draft position depending on who gets what picks as a team without any other talent won't make as much use of Gary as a team that has a piece or two (or multiple lotto picks) Projected Pick: 2-3
