Name: Larry Johnson AKA Grandmama Position: PF/SF Number: 2 DOB: March 14, 1969 Age when drafted: (also please not if the draftee is an early or late entrant in the draft...ie if he came out in a class other than 81, 82 or 83) College: University of Nevada, Las Vegas Hometown: Tyler, Texas Height: 6'7" Weight: 250 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- STRENGTHS: Amazingly strong player who besides only being 6'6" or 6'7" he crushed the glass averaging 7.5 Rebounds a game for his career. After having multiple back injuries he was forced to develop an all-around game. At first he was not a 3P shooter but after the injuries became a capable shooter from behind the arc. Throw down monster dunks and played with force above the rim. WEAKNESSES: Not a good defensive player and he never recorded many steals or blocks. Free throw was above average but he had stretches of poor shooting from the line. Like a good number of guys from this generation injuries slowed he career and after 5 great seasons, he was forced to settle into a role player situation for the rest of his 10 year career.
