STRENGTHS: Great low post player on both offense and defense. He could score, rebound and block shots. Oh so many blocked shots averaging 2.8 per game for his career. Even had four seasons over 3 a game.
WEAKNESSES: Not a good ball handler and turned the ball over at a 3+ rate per game. No range outside 16 feet. Got worse from the foul line as his career continued.
SIGNIFICANT INFO: He made a comeback after undergoing a kidney transplant and later won the 2006 NBA Championship with the Heat. Wowzer that is toughness.
On April 7, 2014, it was announced that Mourning will be inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame
