I'm curious as to what people think my starting lineup should be. I can roll a big lineup out with Wilt/Thurmond/Cummings in the frontcourt, or a more typical lineup by bringing Wilt or Thurmond off the bench. I'm most unsure of the SG/SF spots because that's where I had the greatest turnover in the offseason. I have four wing players who are relatively equal in skill level, then Cummings, who saw a bit of time at the 3 last season.

I probably should've run at Plecas at SG in the playoffs last year. But if he starts at SG, I might have some problems with John Bagley playing too much backup PG or the game putting someone like Cedric Maxwell at PG for spot minutes.

I'd go with Knight/Gaze but I would be a little worried about their defense, so maybe have Plecas play bigger minutes off the bench. That or make a trade for a SF/SG or start Plecas and trade for a better backup PG. Don't like Cummings starting SF, although his quickness is good don't like his perimeter defense/hands/passing/3PT for a three.

Yeh, I don't win with anyone I have on the wing playing D, unless it's Plecas. I could go for a minor move.

Agreed on Cummings. I want to start my 5 best guys or at least give Wilt/Thurmond/Cummings all 30+ mpg, but yeh, Cummings isn't a SF.

I'm leaning toward Maxwell/Knight right now after the way Maxwell played in the preseason, but I'm still open to suggestions.

I agree with Roark but I think you underplay Andrew Gaze.

If Gaze keeps shooting like this, I'll have to play him more. I do worry about his defense and ability to get inside/get to the line.
