Well, jeez. Seeing the weird consensus that Berlin totally won that Oscar trade, I'm curious to see what people think of the trade that was sort of panned as a BA win because whatever Harlem.
Harlem sends:
Bill Walton Harlem 2025 1st
BA sends:
8th pick in this draft (ended up Dikembe Mutumbo) Sidney Moncrief

Adding Harlem 25 was unnecessary.

I like this for BA a little bit because Walton is a stud I'm not sold on Dikembe's athleticism

I love Moncrief and Deke will be a big factor, but I do second guess if the parts are worth the whole. Slight edge to BA, but I think it could work out well for both teams.

Im still scared of this deal if Sidney continues to improve. Despite the fact hes gonna need the max next offseason probably.

Yeah, I'll go with the concensus opinion...while being a Moncrief and Deke fan, I wouldn't want them over Walton in his prime. And the 1st wasn't necessary...

The pick was unnecessary anyway. No one good gets picked at #32. Also: no one is taking into account the contract situation. Assuming Parish and DJ resign, I'd have had $63M in contracts with those four guys, which didn't feel like the smartest financial situation to be in. But, yeah. This is what I expected.

Yeah, but when Parish and DJ leave what they assume is now a rebuild situation, you'll wish you held onto what will become the #7 pick.
