STRENGTHS: Hot Rod was a strong player in the post and was an effective scorer there. He was a very good defensive player, especially efficient at shot blocking, finishing with a career average of 1.8bpg during his 9 seasons with the Cavs, including 2.3bpg in the 1991-1992 season. His best season in the league was the 1989-90 season where he averaged 16.8ppg, 8.1rpg, 2bpg as the Cavs sixth man. He wasn't a great overall rebounder but he was very good on the offensive glass. He did the dirty work for the team, guarding the opposing best big and not having many plays run for him. WEAKNESSES: Didn't play big minutes in the league, although he was a good offensive rebounder he wasn't as good on the defensive glass. Unable to play he year as he was drafted as he was under investigation for points shaving but was later found not guilty. SIGNIFICANT INFO: Was the Cavaliers' all time leader in block shots until Zydrunas Ilgauskas surpassed him. STATS: Ins: 4
