Hakeem OlajuwonC | 7'0 | 256 lbs | 21 years oldabcalegends.com/players/player66.htmPros: Hakeem is a special talent, someone that has everyone around the league excited about his arrival and the possibility of drafting him. He has everything to his game; firstly what stands out, is his athleticism and especially his quickness for a 7-footer. He already comes into the league with an established array of post moves and will be able to score in the league from day 1. But it’s his defensive potential that excites; many expect him to become an elite defender and shot blocker as well as a top rebounder. Cons: You can't really pick out any cons when you look at his game, he comes into the league needing to improve his passing a little but he has shown potential to do so but that’s being picky for a Center. His post defense and offensive rebounding aren't quite as advanced as his other skills coming into the league so teams will need to develop him to allow him to reach his full potential. Overall: In any other draft he would be the #1 pick without question but there is a certain Michael Jordan in the draft class. Scouts are divided on who is the better pick but Olajuwon has the potential to be both an MVP and Defensive Player of the Year candidate throughout his career in the ABCA, and could well be up there with Wilt Chamberlain as the best Center in league history once his career is done. Projection: #1-2
