I don't know if any AGM would want to jeopardize his reputation by taking that job....
hahah j/k Moscow, hope you stick around long enough to learn from these mistakes.

I don't think this is as terrible as some of the others. Has time to right ship and ruin pick. He just hasn't grasped value yet.

It's maybe not "terrible" but it certainly isn't "good" either.
It continues his history of making trades with no grasp of value (or more important a way out of his situation).

The game rates your team as talent "POOR" - DFT certainly did not fix your problem. You still have no one who plays defense.
He also is C+ B A- B on scoring which isn't exactly lights out. Doug Collins (a guy I re-signed just now for 3.75 mil) is a better scorer than DFT.

What we're trying to tell you is this is another shortsighted trade. Sometimes you bite the bullet a year or two to make things right. Now you've extended how long you'll have to play behind the 8 ball. You've got to get a better grasp on value. Just because a good player is available doesn't mean the value you deal for is worth it. Sometimes you say no thanks and hold onto your valuable assets.

My only thing from all of this is I hope that you take all of this and learn from it. The DFT trade isn't horrible but when you combine it with the other trades that have been made it makes it look worse. Moscow has no picks and sitting at the bottom of the conference so thats worrying. Especially since the players being traded for are the ones that have declined in recent seasons.

It's commenting on a trade in the trade comments board. 2) A 28 year old stuffing stats on a terrible team is not "playing well". What is he accomplishing there? Winning you games? No. Tradeable asset? No. Building for the future? No I'm sad that you sullied Roark's name by being his referral.

You know, CKSA definitely lost this trade, as he has with all his others, but his team might have a shot at the playoffs now if he can find a PG. Too bad he has no picks left. Those Chicago picks won't get him a PG.
Daniels/Issel/Rule up front really isn't too bad, then Thompson/Pistelak/Hudson/Johnson on the wings is ok. If he miraculously finds a solid PG, he could make the playoffs the next year or two because his team is still young (even if they're all declining in their youth). But he's also tied for 2nd most losses so far in the season, so he's off to a poor start.
Yeh, CSKA loses, but props to you for going balls in with your goal for the 8th seed, and not half-assing anything.

I'm not sure I'd give props to someone for gunning at the 8th seed by mortgaging his future. He can't even get that seed IMO because Eurasia looks much improved compared to the past couple of years

He can't even get that seed IMO because Eurasia looks much improved compared to the past couple of years I'm definitely not advocating pushing for mediocrity, but since he'd traded away his 1sts for the next two years, he may as well have traded away the 3rd one so these next two years wouldn't suck quite so bad. At least with DFT, he can sort of play for something for the next 2-3 years, rather than having the league bitch at him for being worse than expansion teams. And overall, it might end up that he trades away 2 top 10 picks and a top 15 pick rather than two top 5 picks. I'm not sure DFT will make that much of a difference, but still, it's something. Absolutely still short-sighted and he could've netted more than yet another declining younger player, but I like the boldness of this move. And also, props to Sydney for a splendid move. I'm not sure if this makes CSKA better than Sydney or myself, but it's closer now than it was.
