I think Toronto is the best team right now but NY got the best out of the deal. They kept their squad basically intact and swapped Imhoff for Parish.

Three teams.
17 players.
Several former and future all-stars.
And... EVEN is winning?? That's kind of amazing.

Wow now thats a trade. All teams have done well out of it for different reasons but I like Mexico's return for what he gave up. But yea Raptors are much stronger for right now which kinda sucks for me haha and Knicks got Parish who looks kinda beastly especially in his hands with potential PP boasts. So well done to all.

Is Shaffer sliding down to SF?

Is Shaffer sliding down to SF? I think so and Rollins starting at C. I personally like Shaffer more as a PF where he had all his best years but he should still perform well at SF.

I really do love this for everyone involved.
Seer gets a trio of Imhoff - Shaffer - Frazier which should be absolutely insane with the proper DC/Game Plan. I tried to push for Shaffer to put him next to Imhoff before this but couldn't make it happen. He basically took his young trio and switched them for the players they'll resemble in their prime. Big win now move for him. Then when he added guys like Rollins and Lemon, he created a balanced starting lineup. It's like a Seattle - Knicks - Titans all-star lineup from last season.
Lemon - Frazier - Shaffer - Imhoff - Rollins.
Only thing is I really do like Shaffer more as a PF so I wish there was a better SF option on the team.
Mexico City moves on from the Frazier era and brings in Magic Johnson who has crazy potential. I would've liked to see the team he had put together for another season but can't go wrong getting a player like Magic as long as he pans out. Also like him adding Tom Meschery who is an overlooked player in this league. He moves forward with Sabonis - Magic who are two of the best second year players in the league right now so that's a nice young duo to build with.
For my team I look at this as a continuation to my Zoran acquisition. It hurts to give up Imhoff but he's getting up there in age and while that doesn't personally bother me, I know how this league works when it comes to trade value. I believe i moved Schayes when he turned 30 and now I move on from Imhoff at 29. This sets me up with a young trio of Zoran - Birdsong - Parish but still keeps me in the playoff race I believe. I think Cazzie Russell is a solid player and i'm intrigued by Phil Jackson as well so both of those guys will see minutes for me this season. I'm discussing deals around Issel now and if I get a younger forward to include in my core I'll be set. I still think i'm the 2nd best team in my division but now I have a good amount of youth.

Is Shaffer sliding down to SF? Not sure yet. The first couple sims will definitely be an experiment. Either Tree will start and we go big, or Gail starts and we go fast and small. We'll figure it out.

Lol only slightly. All 3 were already playoff contenders and all 3 are American Conference teams. This individual trade probably just moved our order around a bit.
