Name: Kiki Vandeweghe Position: SF Height: 6'8" Weight: 220 lbs DOB: 8/1/1998 www.abcalegends.com/players/player92.htmPros: Kiki Vandeweghe comes into the draft as a potential scoring threat at the small forward position. Blessed with above average athletic ability combined with raw scoring potential, Kiki has the look of a poor man's Adrian Dantley (minus any threat of playing D). With a jumper that is already there, it is only a matter of time before Kiki improves his inside game to make him a better all-around scorer. Cons: Like what you might about Kiki, but realize when you are drafting him that you are only getting help on one end of the court. Vandeweghe is a defensive nightmare right now and even long term he doesn't project to be any better than subpar. He is also a bad rebounder who can't pass the ball, though he isn't one to turn the ball over...so you can expect him to catch and shoot it every time he touches the ball. Overall: Don't kid yourself when you look at Kiki...he isn't the kind of player you search for on the draft board initially. But those who are looking for small forward help who miss the boat on Dantley and Aguirre (and even Sonny Parker) might find themselves looking Vandeweghe's way towards the mid to end of the 1st round. Defense is important to all GMs, but they seem to be most forgiving of SFs that are lacking in that aspect, so I wouldn't be surprised to see Kiki find a home earlier than expected on draft day. Projection: #17-23

Kiki VandewegheSF / 6'8" / 220 lbs / 8/1/1998www.abcalegends.com/players/player92.htmPros: Kiki is a scorer and can potentially score the ball in a number of ways. He comes into the league with a great jumpshot, arguably the best in the class and you put that with his potential ability to score inside along with his athletic ability then you start to see his potential value to a team. Cons: As good of a scorer Kiki is and will be his defense will be just as bad which will hurt him badly at the next level and potentially making him a bench player long term. He also isn't a great three point shooter which doesn't look like it has the potential to improve that much long term. He currently isn't a good passer either however that has room to grow in the future. Overall: Although he isn't a good defender you can't overlook his potential scoring ability whether it would be in a starting role or off the bench, a scorer will always have a place in a team. Obviously teams will overlook him because of his defense but his potential scoring ability will see him going late teens imo. Projection: 16 - 21
