Name: Vinnie Johnson Position: SG Height: 6'2" Weight: 204 lbs DOB: 9/1/1997 www.abcalegends.com/players/player180.htmPros: Vinnie Johnson comes into the league without a lot of fanfare, but that doesn't mean that he comes into the league without talent. Already a capable jump shooter who can handle the ball well, Johnson projects long-term to be a good scorer from anywhere on the court who can pass the ball when needed. And while Johnson might be a little short for a SG, he makes up for it in above average weight and strength which should help him get inside to compliment his aggressive style. Cons: While that is the best case scenario, the more realistic glance at Johnson notices that he is unlikely to ever be more than a mediocre defender, which will limit his helpfulness in the starting lineup. Combined with size issues at shooting guard, and Johnson more realistically slides down to a point guard position where his passing that was an asset at SG is now only "passable". Overall: Vinnie Johnson is an interesting prospect who could do a lot of things well if he reaches his full potential, but it is hard to draft a 6'2" SG based on pipe dreams. His height makes it unlikely that he will ever be a true starter at shooting guard in the league, so it is more realistic to hope that you can make him an adequate scoring point guard who doesn't kill you too much on defense. Still, once you are past the halfway point in the draft, Johnson's name could easily be called by anyone with a pick. Projection: #17-#23
