Name: Eddie Johnson Position: PG Number: 3 DOB: February 24, 1955 College: Auburn University Hometown: Lake Weir in Summerfield, Florida Height: 6'2" Weight: 180 lbs --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- STRENGTHS: "Fast Eddie" Johnson was one of the quickest players of his era, possessing lightning speed and change of direction with a great jump shot that extended out to three point range. He was also an excellent on ball defender (2 time all defensive team) and productive in generating steals as well. His quickness and athleticism allowed him to get to the line a significant amount of time as well (near 4 FTA per game over his career). He was also a good passer averaging a career 6.2 assists per 36. WEAKNESSES: Thompson was not a very good rebounder on the defensive glass, instead tending to shoot up the court in preparation for some transition points. He was slightly better on the offensive glass. He was a little turnover prone with a career turnover rate of 15.2. ADDITIONAL NOTES: After a 10 year career, cocaine stole his talent and his freedom, and the two-time All-Star has spent much of his adult life as a drug-addled thief and prison inmate. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ins 3.5 Jps 4.5 Fts 4 3Ps 3.5 Hnd 3 Pas 4 ORb 1.5 DRb 1 PsD 1 PrD 4.5 Stl 3.5 Blk 1 Qck 5 Str 2 Jmp 4 Sta 4
