Name: Mark Aguirre Position: SF Number: 24 DOB: December 10, 1959 College: DePaul Hometown: Chicago, Illinois Height: 6'6 Weight: 232
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
STRENGTHS: Aguirre is a matchup nightmare for opposing defenses, even though Mark is only 6'6 he weighs in at a solid 232 lbs (and it's not from momma's home cooking either) he has the ability to blow by larger defenders and just completely man handle those smaller than him. Mark is a true blue collar player, he will fight and claw for every lose ball which will frustrate and wear down those that have to deal with. Aguirre will always be a fan favourite for whoever is lucky enough to have him, but for those who don't, they will truly hate him.
WEAKNESSES: It is a tough task to find a weakness in this mans game, but if you want to picky. Aguirre can sometimes get tunnel vision on the offensive end of the floor (in one season he averaged over 22 shot attempts per game) and his firery game style can sometimes rub officials the wrong way and get Mark into some inwanted foul problems.
SIGNIFICANT INFO: Former #1 overall pick, Single season scoring record for Dallas (2nd all time in scoring for Dallas)

Name: Mark Anthony Aguirre Position: SF Number: 24 DOB: 12/10/1959 College: DePaul University Hometown: Chicago, IL Height: 6'6" Weight: 232 lbs --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- STRENGTHS: Mark Aguirre was one of the better scorers of the 1980s, averaging 20.0 ppg and ending his career with 18,458 points. He averaged over 25 ppg on three separate occasions. Aguirre was a tenacious player at small forward, playing more like a power forward due to his weight. He was able to back down smaller players and used his quickness to get around bigger players, making him a threat whenever he had the ball. He also had a well rounded game, pulling down 5.0 rpg and contributing over 3.1 apg. WEAKNESSES: The one knock that could be made on Aguirre's game was on the defensive side of the ball. He was never considered at the same level as his superior counterparts, and from a steals standpoint, his career average of 0.9 per game is definitely lackluster. ADDITIONAL NOTES: Aguirre was a three-time NBA All-Star and a two-time NBA champion with the Detroit Pistons. In 1980, he won every major college basketball award, including the Adolph Rupp Trophy and the Naismath College Player of the Year awards. In 1981, he was selected #1 in the NBA draft, becoming on the second underclassman (after Magic Johnson) to be taken first in the draft. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ins 4 Jps 4 Fts 4 3Ps 3 Hnd 3 Pas 3 ORb 2 DRb 3 PsD 3 PrD 3 Stl 2 Blk 2 Qck 4 Str 4 Jmp 4 Sta 5
