Bill Walton The "Big Red-Head" Center 7'0" 224 lbs. 21 Yrs Old Pros: Any player that wins three straight college player of the year awards and leads his team to two national titles is going to be considered as a top draft pick. He is a classic down low player that will do the dirty work. Any team that gets Bill can expect to see good rebound numbers and block shots. Bill Walton may not be the most athletic guy on the court but this 7 footer is active and a tough strong guy on the blocks. Not a bad passer for a big and can help take a little pressure off the point guard when needed. Cons: The team that picks him better hire a great training staff. There are worries that he will not hold up to the long ABCA season. Also he will not amaze on the offensive end right out of the gates, his coaching staff better spend some time helping him develop a few more post moves. Scouts also have said that it wouldn't hurt if Bill could put on a few more pounds and some muscle in the next few years. Overall: Bill Walton has the will and desire to be a great player. The physical tools are present, he just needs the right situation were he can receive the needed training and coaching to become elite. If he puts in the time at the very least he should be a tough guy to keep off the boards and a lock down post defender. Projection: 4-7
